We were instructed to go upstairs where we would meet our daughter's bridal consultant. Jen introduced herself and let me tell you there is nothing unforgettable about her. From her welcoming presence, to her huge smile, and especially the way she made our daughter feel very special. Jen led us to our seats which were so comfortable. It felt like we were going to experience this bridal dress shopping in the comfort of our own home. In front of us was this large room full of mirrors, a pedestal, and curtains held open by metal tiebacks. Jen took her daughter and started looking at dresses. Jen asked our daughter so many questions. She wanted to know our daughter personally, so she could select the correct gowns. Jen assisted our daughter getting her gown on and she'd open up those curtains and it was like this grand experience. The last gown our daughter tried on was the most beautiful and perfectly designed for her. It's like consultant Jen knew that this was the finale gown. We explained to Jen that we had another bridal appointment at one of the chain bridal store. Jen took our daughter's measurements for the finale gown our daughter loved. Our daughter did not receive her bridal moment at the chain store and the dresses she tried on did not compare to her finale gown at your shop. Our daughter called your shop back and asked if she could come back and try on that finale gown one more time. Jen was right there to welcome us. Jen had our daughter in the gown with the veil and she grandly opened up those curtains and there wasn't a dry eye in the place. Our daughter said, "I say yes to the dress". Angie contacted me promptly and set up an appointment for a requested Saturday morning. I arrived at the boutique with friends and Angie was super hospitable and professional, her personality was bubbly and inviting! From start to finish I had a great experience. All appointments are private and 1-on-1 with Angie, she does a brief consultation with you to get to know you and find out what you are looking for, your budget, and your likes/dislikes. She took my measures and showed me a few gowns she had in the store to get an idea of fabrics I liked, etc. Although she keeps a limited supply of gowns available in the store, her specialty is hunting down the dress of your dreams! She does all the work for you. Within your budget, Angie will find your dress and contact you with pictures, prices, etc. for your approval before purchasing. From there she will schedule and arrange any alterations that are needed. She can help with ANY budget, large or small. I've never had a more pleasant experience dress shopping. The shop itself is adorable, filled with shabby chic pinks and pastels, lace, and pearls. I told and showed pictures of what I did/did not want but one of them kept saying that she wanted to dress me up in one that was the opposite of what I described I wanted just because it was her favorite... felt as though my input was not respected from the start. I felt as though the dress selection was overwhelmingly large and expansive yet had very very little diversity in dress style. Almost all of the gowns looked like they were the thing in the 2000s and 2010s and several of their dresses on display were described to me as "not order-able". The fitting room space had curtains that constantly blew open giving very little privacy, they did not clip any of the dresses I tried on despite it being common practice at other salons. Instead they shoved a pillow cushion in the back that I would think is quite unsanitary and also didn't have the same affect as a clip would. Couldn't tell what the dresses would have looked like even if they did fit. There was no mirror behind the changing curtain so I had to walk out in front of my entire group to see how much I did not like the dresses and how bad I felt in them and how little I felt they represented me. There were several dresses that I put on and didn't even like when I was looking down without a mirror, and the stylist tried to insist that I still go out to show everyone. I felt terrible. Cried when the ladies left the room to get me more dresses. After someone in my group went to politely tell the ladies I did not want to continue, they still insisted that I tried on more dresses as we were ready to walk out the door. These ladies were very pushy and not very welcoming at all. Greta seemed quite rude to her coworker as well for missing work from being in the hospital (as if that is her fault... or our business). Just wanted to sell a dress to me and convince me they were better than other salons. I don't normally leave reviews like this for places but this appointment absolutely sucked the joy out of me. No bride should cry negative tears in a wedding gown.

Shaylynn couldn't find the selection on her tablet, so my daughter brought up the pictures and Shaylynn took pictures of my daughter's pictures on her phone. Shaylynn did a great job picking dresses. However, that's where it ended. My daughter's matron of honor was the one that helped my daughter in the dressing room putting dresses on and off, tying up her corsets, and holding dresses together that didn't fit. When we asked for some kind of bungee to hold the dress together, we were given what looked like two chip clips and a rubber band. This was my daughter's bridal experience. I would think after all these years, David's bridal would step up and become a bridal store that competes with all the other others.. If my daughter chose a dress there, I'm trying to think who would've gotten the commission because no offense Shaylynn was just picking dresses. My daughter's matron of honor did all the work. I loved our centerpieces. I wanted books and low flowers and lots of candles and that was exactly what we got. Everything arrived on time and was set up to look great. We were impressed with the execution, timing, and pricing (we thought MerryMe would be out of the budget and were pleasantly surprised). They also had another small event to tend to that day... the tailgate for the Garth Brooks concert and it never felt like we given anything but their full attention and effort.
