My husband lost his mind and asked which is better for us. You always pay in the currency of the country you are in and let your bank do the conversion. She told him "oh in your own currency" - this was just another example of people hating tourists and trying to stick it to us.

Many expensive shops and cute eateries since this is where the MyZeil mall is located. MyZeil is where you either shop when you have no end to cash or where you solely window shop- I did the latter! A statue of the Frankfurt famed write, Johann Wolfgang Goethe, is also located here. Impressive statue with steps for sitting and feeding the birds. Cute paved park for enjoying the day and people watching. You will not be bored in this area of town with shopping, walking, eating or just soaking up the sun. Be sure to secure your belongings, though. We did see people trying to pickpocket, so always be aware of your surroundings. Sad, but true, nonetheless. Enjoy!
