Amazing food, wonderful and friendly staff and great vibes. All that you need to have a great meal!!!

Came here for dinner after a wine tasting event. Our friends brought more wine for us to enjoy where I'm not sure what the corkage fee is. The service was attentive and informative. Food was excellent. I had been here once before so it was great I try new dishes. Parking is in the structure which is a short walk to the restaurant.

Love love love this spot! So lowkey, parking was easy, and it's beautiful inside! Service was so attentive and friendly, and the food was just as good. Drinks were delicious, I recommend their jalepeno margarita, and their halibut if they have it (off menu item). Chicken sandwich and fish tacos were also recommended by my friends. A but pricey but worth it. This spot is definitely worth the try!

Came here for valentines dinner and it was such a nice time! My boyfriend and I shared the calamari, spaghetti, and short rib. Calamari was decently crispy but lacked a dipping sauce. Spaghetti was surprisingly good considering it was vegan. Short rib was tender and the bed of mashed potatoes was so deliciously creamy. Service was a bit slow because it was busy. Fancy ambiance, perfect date night dinner vibes.

Always enjoyable. Had a really nice evening with friends enjoying some shared plates. Love how great the service always is here.

My husband and I finally got to try Andrei's, and it definitely lived up to the hype! We started with the calamari and lamb lollipops. The calamari was incredibly tender and unlike the typical versions served with marinara or sweet chili sauce. Instead, it came with a sautéed garlic, shallots, and white wine lemon reduction that was absolutely out of this world. I love calamari and have tried it at many restaurants, but I have to say--this was the best I've ever had. The lamb lollipops were also excellent--very tender and full of flavor. For our main course, we had the wagyu burger and shrimp and grits. The wagyu burger was juicy and packed with flavor, and the shrimp and grits were just as delicious. Our server, Patric, was very attentive and knowledgeable, and his recommendations were spot on. The manager, Dennis, was also very kind--I could tell he genuinely cares about the customers. We will definitely be going back again!

Came here for Mother's Day. We started with bread and herb oil and the calamari. The calamari was very unique and tasty. My boy got the tomato soup and grilled cheese which he loved. My wife had the beet salad and was very happy with it. I got the wild boar chili and it just didn't quite have it. It was way too bland. We ended the meal with the apple cobbler and we all loved it

Had my departments Christmas lunch here and it was great. Excellent food and great atmosphere. Everything we ordered was flavorful and beautifully presented. Service was friendly and efficient. Complimentary valet parking during lunch time. We'll definitely be back!

So this review is long overdue! I was introduced to Andrei's by a friend that lives close to the restaurant and is a regular. Well to say the least, I was hooked as soon as I sat down. The ambiance is always beautiful on the inside and I always seem to go when it's just the right amount of people and not over crowded. The restaurant is located upstairs and the view from the windows allow you to have a nice calm and serene moment. The food is always amazing! Three of my favs are the roasted beet salad, the crispy cauliflower and the lamb lollipops; I usually have them every visit! Usually their specials are always fabulous and an opportunity to try something other than regulars on the menu. I will post different pics of entrees my friends and I have enjoyed over the years but I would be remiss if I didn't mention one of the unique facts about this elegant comfortable restaurant and that it is a non-profit restaurant that donates 100% of net proceeds to the Andrei Foundation, a 501.c3 foundation that supports a variety of philanthropic causes; right tell me where can you find every day humanitarians like that these days! I so support and believe in the family for that alone! Now last but not least one of our favorite waitress just happens to be my namesake, Dena (can't remember if that's how she spells her name)! Dena is well knowledgeable about the restaurant and really pays attention to each customer and offers ideas that are specific to their dinning interests; she's just a joy and always offers exceptional customer service! Did I also mention that the cocktails are always point on and I've never had a bad cocktail here. Please note there is valet parking that takes Venmo; I believe $7 or $9 and they have a validated parking lot that is not as close as the valet parking but close enough to walk

Came out here for dinner during mine if my business trips to Irvine. Ordered lamb lollipops and crispy cauliflower for starters and it was amazing, must try. For main I tuna tartare, which was cooked to perfection. Dessert lemon butter cake and strawberry meringue. I would suggest ordering the lemon cake over the later. Service was amazing and our server's recommendation were spot on. The ambience is pleasant and perfect for dinner with friends, family or for a formal business dinner. I really had a great experience here and would highly recommend this place

First time dining at Andrei's! Parking options are either valet or self-parking. Turn in and veer left for self-parking and right for valet. The entrance to the restaurant is just to the left of the valet station, where you can either take the stairs by the waterfall or the elevator just off to the right. The service was warm and welcoming. We ordered the calamari (lightly breaded and served in a lemon butter sauce), the bistro steak, scallops with Cabernet risotto, and the chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was really good. Andrei's has that "hidden gem" feel. It initially looks like a casual after-work bar actually delivers an elevated dining experience. There were so many more dishes on the menu I'm excited to try, so we'll definitely be back. Great experience overall!

    Surprise birthday cake

I took my fiancé here for a surprise birthday dinner. I'd researched Orange County restaurants that could accommodate a couple of dietary restrictions, and this one kept coming up. It was such a delightful surprise, and one of the best dining experiences in recent memory. The vibe of the restaurant is refined yet cozy. I also appreciated that all the tables and booths had ample space, unlike at many restaurants where you feel practically on top of each other. Our waiter, Patrick, was so knowledgeable about the menu and all of our dietary restrictions that I - someone with Celiac - felt completely safe eating there. Every protein is customizable. The beverages were always full, and the food was - oh my god the food! - DELICIOUS. I ordered the filet mignon, and it was mouth-watering. I don't know how they knew, but they also brought my fiancé a surprise birthday cake--which was really sweet. The restaurant closed early that evening, but we didn't know and stayed well past closing time, but not one person mentioned that to us. We were made to feel more than welcome. Everyone in our large party commented that the place was such a great find. Can't wait to go back.

My friend and I both got the autumn salad: mine with a crab cake, hers with steak. Another friend ordered the steak and fries. My salad was fantastic, and the crab cake (both as a topping and as a starter) was a hit across the table. Everyone was happy with their food. Cocktails: The current theme is classic cocktails, and the space definitely leans into that old school martini bar vibe, very classy. Drinks were solid. I ordered the mango cocktail (can't remember the name) and it was a little on the sweet side, but not overly so. Still enjoyable. Service: This is really why I'm writing the update. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and I can easily see it being a great date spot in the evening. Because our group was so large, I couldn't sample or photograph every dish, but here is my breakdown of the items ordered near my end of the table: 01. Arugula Salad (half) $8.00 - 3 Stars - Light and exceptionally simple, topped with red onions and parmesan cheese. Frankly, it was a bit too simple, the dressing was entirely unmemorable. 02. Prime Rib Dip $25.50 - 3 Stars - This arrived looking very promising. The fries were perfectly crisp, and the creamy horseradish packed a powerful punch (it will definitely clear out your sinuses). Unfortunately, the thinly sliced meat was slightly overcooked, dry, and a bit chewy. While the au jus was flavorful, I've definitely had better prime rib dips elsewhere. 03. Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich $20.50 - 2 Stars - This was the biggest disappointment of the lunch. It looked great initially, but hiding a layer of mashed potatoes underneath the chicken was a strange choice that made the bottom bun instantly soggy. The chicken itself lacked crunch, likely because it was completely doused in what tasted like standard Frank's RedHot sauce (tangy and vinegar-forward, but not actually spicy). No wonder there are barely any photos of this online; I wouldn't order it again. 04. Lobster Roll $32.00 - 3 Stars - Beautifully presented with large chunks of lobster and a side of sweet potato fries. However, at this price point, it felt overpriced for the portion size. The flavor was a bit bland and lacked a "wow" factor. While I appreciated the use of butter lettuce to keep the roll from getting soggy, the lobster meat didn't actually fill out the bread end-to-end. On the bright side, the butter sauce was quite good. 05. Creme Brulee $12 - 3 Stars - A very standard crème brûlée with a decent portion size. It was served completely chilled, which threw off a few of my colleagues. While it's traditionally served chilled, some places serve it closer to room temperature, so this really just comes down to personal preference. 06. Fresh Seasonal Cobbler $12.00 - 3 Stars - As a massive fan of cobblers, I was underwhelmed. The berries were cooked down so much that they lost their form entirely, taking on a jam-like consistency. The crust layer was incredibly thin and soggy, making the whole dessert feel mushy. Luckily, the vanilla ice cream helped cut through the intense sweetness, but overall it was just okay. LOCATION/PARKING - The restaurant sits right on the corner and shares a parking structure with Monaco, The Trough, and Izakaya Osen. Valet parking is available, and the restaurant validates for 90 minutes. CUSTOMER SERVICE - The service seems to depend heavily on who you get. While the staff was generally friendly, they weren't particularly attentive, and we constantly had to ask for refills. To be fair, assigning just one server to a party of 14 is a tough ask, this venue is likely better suited for smaller groups. VERDICT - Overall, the menu feels a bit overpriced for the quality of the food. If my team decides to host another lunch here, I wouldn't object to returning.

Overall, the food, drinks, and atmosphere were great, but unfortunately the hostess experience kept it from being a full 5-star night. I had a 7:30 reservation and arrived at 7:35, but waited nearly 10 minutes before being acknowledged. The hostess was quite rude and told me we had lost our table because we were "late," even though I had been standing there waiting to be helped. She eventually seated us at a dirty table and the overall interaction felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. Thankfully, our server Omar completely turned the night around -- he was kind, attentive, and very helpful. The manager Dave was also amazing and made sure we were taken care of. The food and drinks were excellent. The cocktails were delicious, the hummus with warm pita was fantastic (definitely ask for extra bread!), and the melted cheese with toasted bread was a highlight. The fries were uniquely cut and perfectly cooked, and the calamari was top-notch. The view and ambiance make this a great place to relax with friends over tapas and drinks. I would come back again for the quality of the food, the beautiful setting, and the wonderful service from Omar -- but I do hope management addresses the front-host experience, as it really sets the tone for the evening.
