Graham (Final Frame) was the perfect fit! He is very professional and readily available for any questions, etc. He has a quicker turnaround for the video which is a bonus, and I really liked that his presence was very subtle (doesn't feel like you're on a movie set with a ton of bulky equipment). He edited a wonderful video (documentary edit), and I feel like I really get to relive the wedding day, and I love that I get to re-watch all the speeches/special moments of us with our friends and family. One of my favorite parts is that he will interview the guests (optional) and you get to hear and see family/friends video messages. It was awesome and really special. I'd highly recommend Graham! Graham is very responsive and easy to work with. The day of our June 2021 wedding, Graham showed up on time and got right to work. You hardly even know he's there, which is exactly what we wanted from a videographer. He films "documentary style" and gets all the parts of the day that are such a blur to the bride and groom. My favorite thing about his style is the interviews he does with the bride and groom separately and the interviews he does with guests. It's such a nice touch that makes watching the video even more special. Graham is so affordable given the INCREDIBLE work that he does. I can't believe some people don't get a videographer for their wedding as it was such a special experience to rewatch our day through the eyes of our guests. My sister used Graham a few years ago, and I will be recommending Graham to every future bride and groom. I am sometimes given the impression that my expectations may be too high in terms of the kind of care one can expect to get in a studio - but this was the first time in my life where there was NOTHING I could say could have gone better....they were consummate professionals and absolutely ON IT with EVERYTHING, even the nit-picky musician stuff! They care SO much about the music they are making and they are real musicians themselves, not posers but highly educated and skilled. I was so particularly pleased that Ben's knowledge of music was so extensive, coming from his education at Berklee in Boston...he was SO helpful and was able to use language in talking with my drummer that clarified and nailed down concepts I was struggling to express. He also came up with some brilliant ideas to save me loads of time (and money!). I can't wait to mix my recording here when I finally get it finished! They provided a full day of shooting (8am-10pm) and didn't nickel and dime us on the time. They are currently working on the post-edit. The first draft looks great! Our wedding was in late Oct and they were able to get us the first draft in time for Thanksgiving with the family. I was very pleased and am still pleased with their services. Highly recommended. I've been producing on Ableton for a few years, and I was specifically looking to work with someone in studio to learn and improve my mixes in general. I spent a few hours with Chris in his Oakland studio and learned so much during that time. It was one of the most informative sessions I've had since I started making music! Chris shared numerous different techniques and workflow tips with me while making suggestions and helping refine my track. It's clear that he's an expert in Ableton, but is also generous in sharing his knowledge. After our in-person session, we collaborated for another week or so via phone/e-mail through the mastering process. Throughout this process, he was thorough, patient, and gave invaluable feedback and recommendations - all while communicating effectively. Something I really appreciate about working with Chris is that he makes suggestions and gives honest feedback, but also makes sure that he respects the original vision for what the track should sound like. We booked REB6Studios for our wedding because after watching their films you can tell they have everything you'd want in a wedding video: all the emotional and fun moments captured with amazing cinematography, perfect music and tearjerking storytelling. We received our wedding video earlier than expected and it blew us away. All the shots were beautiful, carefully put together with many details weaved into the film. REB6Studios even incorporated audio from the speeches, and the bride and groom letter readings from before the ceremony. They included many heartfelt stories from our night, such as the emotional moments mentioned in those speeches and letters. The best part is they perfectly balanced the happy and emotional moments, also including the extra fun scenes like the reception dance performances, money dance, and dance floor footage! The video overall made my wife and I cry (in a good way!) because we got to relive all the amazing emotions.
