I truly thought after my phone conversation this was going to be a company I could trust. That…read morethere were still people out there that took pride in there work and did the right thing. Boy was I wrong. What a disappointment. There workman told me the battery looked bad, the control module needed to be replaced, and we needed to upgrade the wifi to cellular because there was no wifi out there. All in the first 10 min on a 1 year old generator. The battery was fine and I showed him the date on it and that it was full charged. To which he replied we changed the battery out every three years. He said it won't start must be the control module or mice getting into the wires. He said we can put the generator on a concrete pad so the mice don't get in but he would have to order a control module. Like that would stop mice from getting in and solve all my problems. Having had enough of all the bullshit, I put the fuse back in (which the disconected) , reconnected the on off switch (auxiliary shutdown switch) (which they disconected) and started it right up. Of coarse its not going to start all disconnected. I showed him that the com link did have wifi. Told them to pack up and get off my property. Worst part is calling the credit card company and putting a red a flag on the company and getting a new card issued. Criminal. I'm sure people fall for it. The icing on the cake was generac emailing me that I've been enrolled in there mobile link.

We called about 5 times requesting to speak to someone and Cannondale just sent us a contract in the mail without ever returning our call. During the crazy storm in August of 2020, many people in our town couldn't reach Cannondale to fix their generators. We decided on A&J because of how communicative they were - they worked around the clock during that storm to help their customers. Since then, we've had nothing but positive experiences with A&J. Our generator is getting up there in age, so we had to have several service calls this year. We were able to immediately reach someone via phone and email. Each time they sent someone over quickly. One time, our generator stopped working overnight during a power outage. We called them at 5am and they had someone at our house by 7am. Soon after, they were able to replace the part and give our generator a bit more time as we navigate the process of obtaining a new generator. A&J educated us on the the changes in regulations, walked us through the many options out there, and helped us find a new spot for the generator without ruining the look of our property.
