An advantage of using them is that they are a small, long standing, local team, so that one is dealing with known individuals in a long term relationship who have excellent local knowledge. Throughout the decades of our relationship they have always responded quickly to any issues, concerns or matters needing dealing with. Over the years an element of friendship became a pleasant, positive part of the business relationship. I highly recommend them as agents for renting and selling properties.

It was the best thing we've ever done as we now have the most beautiful home and Jo worked amazingly within a really strict budget (I was initially worried she would turn us down). I wouldn't say we are her everyday high-end luxury clients, but Jo treated us as though we were and we absolutely love our house (which actually looks like we did spend a fortune - it's amazing). We couldn't recommend Jo enough and would go back to her again in a heartbeat.

Had a leaking roof at one of our student properties in Swansea…read more DTA was quick to respond to my enquiry and the drone inspection was arranged within a few days. The person handling my job was very good at explaining what would happen, how they would inform neighbours and the police etc. , and how I'd be able to see what I needed from the high resolution photos they took. Never had to do this before but it was all simple and straightforward and wasn't expensive.

As estate agents go, this Cagenthancellors office is unremarkable…read more It's of a decent size and well located in the centre of town. The staff all give the impression that their eager and willing to help but, after all, they're estate agents aren't they. They are professional and attentive to every detail and have a good relationship with the local solicitors. Dealing with the mid-end of the market, they are very busy - but always find the time to keep you updated and in the loop. The champagne and flowers when we moved in were a very nice touch.

Hi We initially…read morerented a property for a 6 month period through Chancellors, and found them to be really helpful throughout the whole process. I informed David Pratt the Manager 3 months in to the rental period that we were looking to purchase a property and explained the type of property we were after. He was proactive in looking for a property for us and came to us on 3 occasions with potential houses of interest. The last of these we were told about by David just as it came on to the market. We viewed the property and made an offer straight away, and after a number of other offers that were put forward we were fortunate in having our offer accepted. David was extremely helpful and professional throughout the entire process and we would highly recommend him and Chancellors to anyone looking to rent or buy a property. Mr and Mrs Crow

They specialise in flooring: tiles, wood and paint and they have some bathroom and kitchen displays. I've heard good things about the customer service, although there's rarely anyone in there when I go past, so it might be a bit embarrassing browsing without wanting anything in particular. I arranged for this company to re-code my Avocet ABS locks (very good locks by the way), they…read morequoted a reasonable price and seemed pretty helpful. I shipped my locks to them, paid for the re-code and waited. When I got my locks back, they were different sizes to the ones I'd sent. I produced the boxes my original locks came in, the orders for those locks all stating clearly the size of the lock. I sent up 2 Euro Profile locks (E45/I50 & E50/I45), what I got back were 2 locks sized 50/50 & 45/45. Rather than accepting all the proof I supplied, they all but accused me of lying or trying to commit some kind of fraud. I must be mistaken about the sizes - even though I had the original boxes for these locks. The mistake could not have happened they said, and yet it had. The manufacturer got involved (as this is where the re-coding takes place) and asked me to ship the wrong locks to them. All Lock&Key kept saying was "prove what you sent us". Well maybe they should have checked them in when they arrived noting the sizes. How can I prove what I put in the post ?! Video me wrapping them up and posting it ?!, if I'd have known the issues that were going to occur I'd have done it!. I invited them to come and see my 2 only doors so they could see I had no reason to deceive them. This company was stubborn and pig headed to the end, completely failing to provide any semblance of customer service. Should it ever have gotten to the point where I had to speak to a solicitor and prepare to take legal action to get my property back ? Luckily the manufacturer wanted to provide the required customer service and shipped new locks of the correct size down... I fitted them yesterday, and guess what, they are a perfect fit - that would be because I know how to measure a lock, and I know what size it needs to be and I know what size I originally ordered and what size I sent to them. Will never be using this company again. Just for calrity, the first company I dealt with regarding these locks have a policy of not discussing online orders on the phone, and can only be emailed. Perhaps if the original company had responded to all but one of them, there would not have had to be so many (4-5 in total ?!). They also did not consider security to be a high priority - which is at least one area Lock&Key did excel. Perhaps if a companies first response (and indeed continued response) was not to say the customer is wrong then the customer wouldn't be so irate. For anybody interested, I'm happy to share my communication with Lock&Key and their responses.
