The only real reason I stopped by was because they had a special Sailor Moon 30th Anniversary soundtrack vinyl that immediately caught my eye... so I made the hour long journey from Nashville to come visit AndVinyl up in Clarksville. Immediately loved how welcoming the place was: whether it was the customer service of the employees or the inclusive decor in the windows facing outside. The place is VERY snug but also packed wall to wall with dozens of vinyls and cassettes. They even had room to include a few extra titles upstairs in an even smaller area. I went ahead and preordered the record for pickup in the store just in case they sold out of the vinyl I wanted, and to my surprise they had a few copies remaining along with other limited edition vinyls and boxes for show all along the right wall. It's a shame I live so far away. I would be so interested in visiting this shop all the time if I was closer.

The place to go for vinyl records... Huge selection of records: new and old. I immediately was drawn to a huge box of single song records. I drew one randomly and got Otis Redding "Sitting On The Dock of the Bay". I was shocked that it was only 5 cents. Wow! I bought it. CDs were listed at 50 cents. Very affordable! I asked if the had the latest Taking Back Sunday record. They told me they would have it next week on Wednesday. I was impressed and told them I would buy it. This place is a gem!

Really good selection of 45s and 12 inches, not a bunch of commons and stinkers but some good deep cuts in there. Hidden gems. Owner is super nice and knowledgeable, he was helping some folks pick out a turntable when I was in there, not just doing the scumbag salesman routine, but actually helping them out and teaching them about them. Rad store. Really good vibe throughout.

This is such a cute little shop. I went with my daughter and was pleased to see the diversity of the vinyl available for purchase as well as thier support for local artists. The staff had advice, suggestions and a real appreciation for the unique and varied artists we were looking for.

I likely would've purchased some vinyl if I wasn't traveling as they have a killer selection! Love…read morethe shirt designs and picked up one!

This is a record store / gift store / studio owned by Jack White of the White Stripes and others…read more They offer tours of the studio, but they don't let you take your phone or camera with you during the studio tour. So I don't have any photos of the studio and offices, which is a bummer because there are so many neat things to see. I definitely recommend doing the tour, though! Our tour guide was Ben Blackwell, who is an executive at Third Man, a musician, and oh, Jack White's cousin! He's a cool cat and told us lots of stories about the people who have recorded at Third Man, and the things that have gone down. If you have a chance to get Ben as your tour guide, you will be in for a treat. The tour itself was a little under an hour. The Third Man shop is where you CAN take photos, and it's a good thing because there are also lots of interesting things to see in the shop, like White Stripes paraphernalia, a record listening booth, a Wax-o-Matic machine where you can make your own red wax guitar figurine, an area to play guitars, almost every record you can imagine on the Third Man record label, Maggot Brain magazine (which is published by Third Man Records), clothing, posters and lots more. If you're a White Stripes, Raconteurs or Jack White fan, you definitely need to stop in. It's so neat to be in a studio where all kinds of musical magic happens! And even if you're not, you might become a fan just by visiting.
