My recent experience at this dealership needs to be shared. After speaking with Stan (the general manager) and Michael (the sales rep) for three days about a specific vehicle, I showed up to find the car was nothing like what had been described and that the photos advertised appeared to be intentionally taken to hide all the issues. When we arrived to test drive the car, I immediately spotted several issues that were never mentioned. The car needed new rear brake pads, a new mirror, new exhaust tips, and looked to have a junkyard engine. There were tree nuts and debris scattered throughout the inside of the engine. The motor also had a brand new white sticker that said "Q5" despite the engine being 15 years old. These are the stickers I've seen junkyards use when selling parts separately. When I brought all this up, the explanations I got made no sense. The missing chrome exhaust tip was apparently "how the dealer gets it," or something the previous owner removed because it was "hard to clean." The young sales rep who told us this clearly no real experience or knowledge about cars, which is concerning considering he works at a dealership. Meanwhile, the car was priced about $3k over Kelley Blue Book depite all these issues, The whole experience was a waste of time and I do not recommend anyone to go that dealership. read more

I'm not gonna say much but unless your rich I wouldn't go here I bought a used 2010 Honda accord for around 12,000 not at all what it's worth despite it's condition it has about 130,000 miles on it and a couple of things inside like a small tear on the seat but anyways fuck dealerships I tried to bring the price down and they told me they couldn't. This is the best price that they could do. I am 19 and I was buying my first car. It's a coupe too which personally I don't know if coupes are relatively more expensive but they shouldn't be so unreliable. I was trying to buy a different car. A bigger car in personally would've been better for you around the same price range and they told me I couldn't do that. I regret my purchase so much. I wish I had went somewhere else. dealerships are scammers. yes you did offer me other options of cars that probably would've had problems quicker down the road cars that typically had problems and what I'm trying to get at is that you way over priced the used car you sold to me no going around that you just did especially with the year and the condition it was it the first time I took it for a test drive the back tire was smoking and yeah, I could've gone somewhere else, but I was carless and using somebody for a ride. My car is now 7 years old and I've been bringing to Andy Mohr Volkswagon on Rockville Road, in Avon, for all my car needs (except tires). They are always friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about my car. My car is still doing very well and I always have service completed when mileage requires. I never skip an oil change and keep fluids full. The service techs are very nice and always explain questions so I can understand. They only make recommendations for extra service when things indicate a problem. Right now, that could be my air-conditioner which sounds like it needs servicing. I mentioned a sound I've been hearing and they all mentioned air-conditioner. Maybe next week. I never have problems getting an appointment here and they are great to work with. The service waiting area has a large flatscreen, comfortable, big chairs, drink vending machine and free coffee and chai latte. They keep you updated as they are getting closer to done. I saw a used vehicle advertised at Andy Mohr Volkswagen. This dealership is two hours away, so I called Saturday morning to make sure they still had the vehicle before I attempted to make the drive. Dan assured me they still had the vehicle, and so we made an appointment to go see it. When I arrived, they told me they no longer had the vehicle, it was sold Friday night (the night before I called). They did apologize for what seemed to be a system error. Obviously, I was very disappointed, driving myself, my wife, and three kids to look at a vehicle that I was told was there but had already been sold. As I was leaving, Dan asked if he could provide me a gas card for my trouble. I thought this was a nice gesture given their mistake. Sadly, he came back and said, "Can I mail it to you?" I had an overall great customer service experience getting our new SUV. Felt I got a fair deal on the trade in (above KBB estimate by $600) and a good price on the car. Josue was great to work with. HOWEVER, after only 7 hours of drive time the battery completely died on me when I was 2 states away from home. I was stranded for the night. Took it into the shop the next morning to replace the battery, and they told me the battery cables were corroded to the point that they needed replaced in the very near future. It's a small thing, but this shouldn't have been missed in inspection and could have easily been replaced prior to selling. When I asked the dealer about it, they basically gave me the big ole screw you, that's on you to worry about. Just a frustrating end to an otherwise pleasant experience. I was sold a truck that was supposedly inspected. Engine light code was canceled upon my test drive and it had came on. When I figure out the issue on the truck. The sales rep told me that dealership have looked at problem but records do not show anything. Upon request to fix the issue, dealership wanted to help out since I am loyal customer but it was a lie and wasted my time. I had my car in service center for 2 weeks with the hope that service rep going to make it right after talking on phone. After talking to the Sales Manager , he told me "We Can not do Anything , I bought the truck from dealership as-is and service warranty was offer to you". I knew the truck had scattered window and I had notify the dealership before purchase , that I was aware and willing to fix it. I was not aware of the non reliability of the truck or the dealership . I guess loyalty doesn't get you any awards. I won't trust driving off with any used car they sale. After going to Mechanic , I discovered I need to fix Bad spark plugs, throttle body sensor , fault fuel injectors and bad catalytic converters which was surprising since it could have not pass dealer emission Testing. Tyler was patient with our indecisiveness as he walked us around the entire lot to look at every Tiguan they had as we compared every small detail. We decided on the Tiguan SEL and I absolutely LOVE it. Tyler was patient and understanding when we asked for some time to think about all of our options. Once we decided on the perfect one Tyler walked us through all of the paperwork in an easy to understand way. He used his time wisely and explained the features of the car to us while we waited for someone to finalize all of the paperwork for us. They called to make sure I was loving my new car and were there to answer any little question I had. When I returned the spare keys to my old car, they greeted us by name. I work at a school and we collected toys for tots but we weren't a drop off location so I asked if we could drop off the toys at their store. They were so excited and helped us carry in the multiple boxes of toys we had for them. This is my 2nd review of this service department. I get into my Cross Sport this morning and I have an airbag error light come on. The service manual advises to take to the dealership immediately. I do so and because of a busy schedule I have today I request a loaner. Service advisor David Patterson became rude and condescending advising there are no loaners available and most dealerships would just turn you away on a Saturday morning. If I am not mistaken there are over 300 cars on this parking lot. I am sick and tired of these dealerships doing what they can to make a sale; allowing overnight test drives and then when you need a vehicle to drive magically they don't have a car available. I've been here twice now, not sure why I went back a second time. My car was towed from my girlfriends apartment and was damaged by the tow company. I got quotes from here, Best One right down the road, and Dearry Automotive. The quote was higher obviously but I do like having bigger repairs done by the dealership. The man I spoke with first was a really nice guy, genuine and knowledgable and that put me at ease. I called the tow company and had them get in contact with Andy Mohr so that they could arrange payment for the repair. Since I was here I figured I might as well get an oil change too. I asked about prices and the man gave me several options. I picked up my car from a man named Dave. Dave. When I got my invoice there was a charge for $80 for an oil change. $80! That's absurd. I asked Dave about it and he said that it's this expensive because my 2009 Jetta takes a special order oil filter and oil. This was a bold face lie. I vowed to never come back. This was in 2016. Fast forward now to about a month ago. My car has just recently been paid off (woo!). I go to leave work and I cant turn my key. I do some research and my ignition lock cylinder needs replaced. I called Andy Mohr, Falcone, and Tom Wood. Andy Mohr was the first to get back to me. The man said that if I had my car towed to them they might be able to look at it that day for a diagnosis but for sure it would be done by the next day by 3. This was a Wednesday. He said that the part will take 5-7 business days days to receive due to it being special order specific to my car (this is actually true), so getting it diagnosed and the part ordered asap is important to me. I get my car towed there by White Glove Towing (highly recommend). I spoke with someone other the man on the phone and he wasn't familiar with my situation so he leaned over and asked the man at the desk next to him. DAVE. Dave is who I unknowingly spoke with on the phone. Dave told the man I was talking to that he told me that he wouldn't be able to get my car in for diagnoses until the following Tuesday! Funny that Dave changed the deal once my car is on their lot. This "Dave" feels like a cheap car salesman. Nickel and diming people he thinks he is smarter than, people that he assumes don't know much. He preys on them. Everyone I've spoken with at Andy Mohr has been nothing short of nice and genuine, except for Dave who is a bold face liar and a sleezeball. I called Tom Wood and had my car towed up there instead. I didn't want to make a second insurance claim for a tow so I had to pay out of pocket to get away from Dave, but it was well worth it. I wouldn't recommend Andy Mohr Volkswagen to anyone as long as Dave is there. If you must go there, do whatever you can to stay away from this guy. read more

TLDR: Do not use Andy Mohr Volkswagen service center Last week I received a call that my vehicle had a recall. I said I wanted to schedule that and also get an inspection that I am overdue for. She offered me 8:30 on a Thursday. I said I couldn't do that because I work at 8. She said that I could bring my car in between 7 and 7:30 and there is a shuttle that would bring me home, despite living in Brownsburg. When I showed up today, the service center doesn't even open until 7:30 and the only person working said the earliest I'd be able to get a shuttle would be 8:30. Despite me explaining what I'd been told, he felt like reminding me multiple times that my appointment wasn't supposed to be until 8:30. While I understand that he claimed to be the only one there (even though I saw several service employees walking around) and thus couldn't drive me home, he refused to even reschedule the appointment for me, saying he doesn't do that, I have to wait for the other employee to call me back for scheduling. So, I woke up an hour early and drove there only to be turned away without even a rescheduled appointment. As I was driving home, I remembered why I am so overdue for the inspection. It is because last time I made an appointment for it and showed up, the exact same guy told me it would be a 4 hour wait despite me having an appointment. I refused to wait 4 hours to get a car inspection and he was so rude about it I never rescheduled. I will not be back and I will be complaining to the leadership team. Do not go for service at Andy Mohr Volkswagen unless you have a lot of free time that you don't mind them wasting. If I could give 0 stars I would. read more

I was defrauded by Andy Mohr VOLKSWAGON In Avon Indiana. They made me put a Downpayment down of $2500 when the law states according to 15 USC 1662b- No Downpayment is required during a Consumer financed deal! I tried to handle the issue directly with corporate by calling the Director/ General Manager Erick Spurgess and address my concerns. Erick told me that he would not be giving me my money back because the $2500 I put down that was supposed to go towards the car so I was told, was actually me purchasing the contract for the vehicle from the dealership. Save your money from these scammers! Andy Mohr Volkswagen knowingly sold me a TOTALED 2013 Tiguan in May of 2021. Within 2 months of driving, the vehicle began stalling. I took it to their service center for the same issue twice, only to be shrugged off and treated like an idiot. "European vehicles do that sometimes. The computers die which causes the engine to shut off." - Dave in service. Unacceptable answer then, unacceptable answer now. The last time it stalled (in traffic) I decided to take it to Tom Wood Volkswagen (96th St) for a second opinion. They found the heater core and engine module, among other things, needed replaced - estimating nearly $10k in repairs. The car I owned for less than 6 months was totaled. To "make things right" the Andy Mohr Volkswagen sales team offered to swap the vehicle for another on their lot of equal or lesser value. My options were, an Impala with over 110k miles that reeked of smoke, a Fusion with a cracked windshield, or a Santa Fe with completely busted interior. They refused to refund my money so I could find a reliable vehicle elsewhere after risking my life in that death trap. This experience was utterly traumatizing. To make matters worse (the reason I decided to share my negative experience): they just listed the same 2013 Tiguan for the same price I initially bought it! They didn't even bother to remove my Sasquatch decal!! Beware!! DO NOT BUY THIS VEHICLE - IT IS TOTALED!! What a despicable act of dishonesty! Wooh. I'm so disappointed with all the Andy Mohrs. They are honestly just bad business. I found a vehicle that I wanted and started the order online .. I added my credit info, trade info and scheduled a delivery time. I didn't want the hassle of the dealership. I received a call saying that I had to come in to test drive and run the numbers at the dealership. I told her I was not interested as I already received payment info, and a delivery time. I expressed that I didn't want to come in and play the games they do. I got a notification that they ran my credit multiple times. After this, I decided to go in since they already ran my credit and told them that I would like to get a trade in estimate before I purchased a new car. They kept playing games and offered me $3,000 and then $4,000 for a Chrysler 200 2015 in good condition. They stated that they heard a noise which was literally non existent. I left and they called back a week later saying that they could give me $7,000 for the car and that they really needed use cars. This is not how you do business. If I take time out of my day to purchase a vehicle with you online... why ask me to come in just to play more games? You were literally selling the same vehicle on the lot for $10,000. I knew that I wanted something brand new & I was ready to purchase. They let me leave just to call back and offer what I asked for in the first place for my trade. The car was ready when I arrived, but I soon found out that the Transmission was not what was advertised on the website and not what I told the online and the Business Development Manager who made the appointment. If I could pick a negative rating I would. The service department at this dealership is horrible and dishonest. This dealership will email you relentlessly that your vehicle is due for service. However, when you make the appointment and show up, they will then tell you that you don't really need service and because you don't really need service yet, you will have to pay for anything that is done at this point. The inclusive services do not apply until service is actually needed (miles and time). When you mention about the emails, you will be dismissed and they will say "oh those are automatic". And they will do that in a condescending tone treating you as an idiot who should have known those emails are not to be paid attention to. What a dishonest racket they have going. Not to mention HORRIBLE Customer Service!!! Go elsewhere so you don't waste your time and money. read more
