    Pork chops and eggs

Finding a good classic an all American coffee shop it's hard to find due the changes what's going on to this coffee shops. We're surprise when went to have breakfast at this classic coffee shop on Colorado Blvd the same street that the Rose Parade march on this coffee shop called Andy's coffee shop. We found parking on the street and parking in back of the restaurant. When step in it feel like throw back that time froze they probably the original booths and the unique thing is the U shape counter an orginal they' don't make U shape counter that's a classic. We got seated right away then a staff member came to get our drink order we order coffee for our breakfast meal. Then she hand us the menu and look at it what to order my wife decided to order the Andy's breakfast comes with three old fashion Buttermilk and choice of bacon, ham or sausage served with two eggs. I order the pork chops and eggs comes with two season pork chops, hash brown and served two eggs and your choice of toast. The waiter brought our meal to our table our breakfast looks so especially my wife old fashion Buttermilk Pancakes looks so good but my pork chops smell delicious. The pork chops were season perfect and grill and seal the flavors of the pork chops they so good. The hash brown have flavor season well and cooked golden brown. My wheat toast was toasted light and butter perfect. My wife enjoy the Andy's breakfast the one thing she love is the old fashion Buttermilk Pancakes she say it fluffy and airy and flavor was good she give a piece it was so good I enjoy it. We enjoy the food at Andy's Coffee shop and the staff they friendly and plight. Andy's Coffee shop have history to Pasadena and Colorado Blvd.

This was on the way back from a coffee shop we like to frequent since I was hungry. I think there's parking in available in a lot but we walked here. The interior is very old school diner which I liked. Unassuming and not pretentious. They gave typical diner fare but also some Latin and Mexican specialties like chilaquiles. I ended up ordering an omelette where I could pick 4 toppings and went with bacon sausage mushrooms and peppers. It came with a side of hash browns and toast but I chose English muffin which was nicely buttered. The omelette was pretty good and the hash browns were very crispy so that was nice. I think it's a little bit overpriced for what they offer, my omelette was about $20. It was loaded and fresh so I would prob still come again but feels a little too expensive for standard diner fare. Service was pretty good and attentive.

Had the Huevos Mexicana which was very good but had a little too much sauce, making everything very wet. Wife had Eggs, sausage & hash browns. Location is small and was busy on a Sunday morning, $43 + tip for 2 makes it a bit pricey. Service was ok, nothing special, had to ask for coffee refill. Haven't decided if we will make a return visit.

I stopped by this past Saturday for breakfast. Its an unassuming place with tinted windows and one way in and one way out. The diner had a steady flow of patrons when I arrived and as I ate. There's optional seating at the bar near the register or booths and tables. Menu offerings are typical diner options like eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes but theres also a Mexican breakfast menu as well. I had the Andy's Breakfast Super Burrito. The burrito is cut in half and they don't skimp out on ingredients. I was unable to finish it as it also came with a side of beans. I enjoyed my meal. I'd love to try out other breakfast staples especially the Mex breakfast menu.

Driving by you may miss it! Walking by and you may not notice it. Once inside you will be taken back to the old feel of a mom and pop type of local diner. Photos of celebrities, Movies, and shows this place has been in adorn the walls. So I ordered the Bacon, eggs, hash browns and toast. Something about their hash browns they were just so fluffy and tasty. The bacon was crispy,& non greasy (perfect). Even the toast was light and really good. It's not like was particularly hungry, but the breakfast was GREAT! They brought out a salsa that was just so fabulous it would've been perfect with Chips. It was great with eggs too, I am more surprised and pleased that it is That Good! It's not a really big place. So it's self seating. The service is fast, and friendly. It's welcoming . If you get the chance to come into Pasadena and want a really good diner experience Andy's is definitely the Spot

We used to go a lot before Covid and it was a diner ambiance, now it has so many more tables in a small area. The wait staff has a lot of tables as well as take out orders to fill, because of this there is a longer wait time to get orders out! What used to take 15 mins, now takes 30-40 minutes. We ordered from the Mexican Food section because there are Mexicans cooking and we know they will taste like home! The Huevos Rancheros were perfect as were the rice and beans! I love the Machaca however this time I was disappointed not because of the taste but for the lack of beef !!! It usually has a good amount of beef , but this time I got a few pieces and a lot of vegetables!!!! It was good but I expected 25% meat not 2% for the 15 dollars I paid for this meal. It's called Machaca not Vegetable and egg! The flour tortillas were really good and went well with the meal. Hopefully next time I will get Machaca! Overall this is only the first time it happened , I know you will enjoy Andy's Coffee Shop!

A decent Mexican themed diner in Pasadena. I would say that Russell's is my favorite diner in Pasadena followed by Shakers but Andy's is a nice option if you are in the area. They have a much smaller menu compared to some of the other competitors and inside is quite small as well. They don't have outdoor seating so everything will be indoors and if it's crowded be prepared to wait. We had to wait about 10 minutes for our table for two to be ready for our Saturday brunch. They don't have a dedicated parking lot however street parking is fairly easy to find in this part of town. Pricing is fair and our server was pretty nice although took quite some time for the drink refills and to check in on us. As mentioned this is more of a Mexican themed diner. All diners in Los Angeles are one of four to me. The traditional retro LA diner, the country diner, the Asian diner, and the Mexican diner. This being Mexican due to the amount of Mexican dishes on the menu, clientele, and staff. As someone from San Diego I don't mean this is a negative thing, actually something that I really like and prefer even though I myself am not Hispanic. For my order I chose the Huevos à la Mexicana and did enjoy it although I felt that there was too much liquid, everything was a bit too wet, but still had some nice flavors. Overall, I would recommend if you are in the area and I would definitely give it another try again in the future.

We were in the area and found this cute spot to eat breakfast. Food was amazing, staff was friendly, cozy spot for a great meal.

I got their sausage omelet & hashbrown to go box from here and it was not the greatest. I ate about 1/3 of it before taking it home and giving it to my brother, who "remade" everything on a frying pan to his taste later on. And even then he said just by looking at it that it was going to be mid. Hashbrowns were slightly burnt and the omelet was saltier than what I would have liked. Also the sausage had random hard bits in it, definitely a negative texture ASMR.

Decided to try a new breakfast spot and I'm so glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious. I customized my meal, and thanks to my server, everything came out exactly the way I wanted -- she really made it happen. The service overall was super friendly, which made the experience even better. The ambiance has a charming, old-school vibe that adds to the cozy feel of the place. Definitely worth stopping by and giving it a try!

The Reyn is a popular breakfast spot in Pasadena and a place I still visit from time to time,…read moreusually when meeting friends or colleagues. Despite its popularity, I find the food to be fairly average. Much of it tastes like it's made from standard commercial food-service ingredients rather than prepared fresh. On the positive side, the prices are reasonable, the dining room has a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff is generally attentive. Overall, it's a decent neighborhood breakfast restaurant - nothing particularly memorable, but nothing especially disappointing either. The Reyn Special - 3/5. A classic breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, hash browns, and banana bread. The eggs and bacon are fairly average, although the bacon tends to be overcooked and dry. The standout is the hash browns. They're cooked with a nicely browned, crispy crust while still remaining fairly moist inside. The real highlight, however, is the banana bread. It tastes homemade and is easily the best item on the plate. Crepes - 2/5. This dish comes as two separate plates: one with the ricotta-filled crepes and another with eggs, sausage, bacon, and your choice of fries or tater tots. Unfortunately, the crepes are the weakest part of the meal. The ricotta-filled crepes don't taste freshly made and instead resemble a pre-made food-service product that's simply reheated before serving. Both the crepe and ricotta filling have a generic flavor with noticeable artificial notes. You can choose either banana or strawberry topping, but both sauces taste overly processed and artificial. The accompanying breakfast plate is noticeably better. I chose the tater tots, which were well prepared - crispy on the outside while remaining soft inside. The bacon, however, was again overcooked and dry, making it tough to chew. The sausage was acceptable but unremarkable. Scrambled Supreme - 2.5/5. Despite the name, this is essentially an omelet. The eggs have a mild, neutral flavor, and the fillings are okay without standing out. Coffee - 2.5/5. The coffee is classic diner coffee in every sense. It's somewhat watery, heavily roasted, and finishes with a flat, slightly bitter aftertaste. It's neither particularly good nor particularly bad - just standard coffee that does the job. Overall, The Reyn succeeds as a comfortable, affordable breakfast spot with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. While the food is average, and several dishes rely on ingredients that taste commercially prepared rather than freshly made.

For dinner I got a Chinese Chicken Sandwhich which was okay....but I would only eat it again if i was in need desperately for fiber. Today, I started off with the same coffee routine, but for lunch I got their Italian combo which was lasagna with salad and garlic bread stick. WOW. That lasagna was super dry. It was one of those frozen lasagna that you can buy at Costco...but even if I were to make it it would come out better. The food wasn't even kept in a steamer, but a tin foil tray so it was cold and dry. BLEH. The salad was okay, but they piled it on with ranch dressing :( And the bread stick. my GOSH! There is still the Chinese selection and the grill that I have yet to try. Chinese doesn't look too promising...for sure worse than Panda Express right across the street. The grill though looks good considering they actually make it for you on the spot. They also have a fried popcorn chicken and french fries you can grab and go. I got the Chicken Shawarma wrap with fries and hot damn if that wasn't some of the best vegan food I've ever tasted! I'm more of a flexitarian, but I try to eat at least one vegan meal a day. And wow, am I glad I chose this place! First off, those fries. Seasoned to perfection. I think they use some sort of cajun seasoning. But whatever it was, it was hella good. Next, the wrap. Um, what?! How is this vegan?! Whatever meat alternative they used, the texture was perfect. Also amazing seasonings and sauces. It was packed with flavor and lots of veggies. And it was super filling, too! I also grabbed a coconut water cause I need my electrolytes. I took my meal to-go, but kind of regretted it because the inside is so cute! Retro diner chic. Counter stools. Tiled floors. Adorbs. Also, the staff was super helpful and very attentive even though I was doing take-out. Just a five-star experience all around. Can't wait to come back for more delicious vegan food!!
