Stu was fantastic with me, didn't get angry when I got emotional (which honestly was A LOT!). He brought me back to basics and taught me how the car worked and most importantly WHY we did the things we did. He also helped me to focus on what I was doing and demonstrated that by slowing all of our actions down which gave me time to react to the surroundsings. Although it was a tough week and I was physically exhausted by the end of it, not once did Stu ever lose faith in me. He was a calming influence but also a lot of fun! Brilliant driving school for those of us who might have a history with driving! I don't think I would have passed without them!

I…read morewas so lucky to have a teacher so passionate about his job, so easy going and so determinate to make a student learn well. He can easily deduce whether or nor you are ready to pass your test and he is very encouraging as he wants you to succeed, giving you a 'can do attitude'. Gus is so patient, no matter how much you stress/nervous you are or if you have little 'meltdowns' during the lessons. He is always there to calm you down, pulling you on the side of the road and ensuring you are ready to drive again, calm and relaxed. Gus is an excellent teacher and uses different ways of teaching, such as showing videos, drawings on paper and, in general, making me today a confident driver. His instructions were clear and easy to understand and each lesson was fun, making the experience enjoyable. I would 200% recommend Gus to anyone who wants to learn how to drive or just need a few lessons to remember. The Village is a dedicated childrens centre that serves the Folkestone area. They offer so many…read moredifferent services to families and careres. I first went there for my antenatal classes when I was pregnant with my son. There team were excellent and we became members. When our son was born we were sent a time table of the events that they run each week. They offer a crawlers group on a Monday between 12.30 and 2.30. During this time you can see a health visitor and have your baby weighed. You can also take part in baby yoge, baby massage, messy play and sing and sign. On Wednesday they have movers which is for babies who are on the move. There is also a breast feeding support group on Friday mornings between 10am and 12am. They provide other classes just for adults and offer a free creche place for your baby. You can take a Makaton sign language course or do crafts. The staff are all highly trained and are extremly supportive. They will help you with an problems you have and are a great source of information. I would suggest that anyone who has recently had a baby should take a visit to the village. I have tried a few other groups in our area and like many others I found the village to be the best. Best of all it is entirely free to attend!!
