Andy's swapped out my summer tires for winter tires, balanced and installed my wheels in about 10 minutes. Amazing! Last year I went elsewhere and waited in the lobby about 2 hours while they puttered around and finally got to mounting my tires. Andy's is my new favorite spot for tires. read more

AWESOME spot. Honest, fair prices. I bent a steel wheel on a pot hole. Firestone wanted $125 for a new one and they didn't have them in stock. I would have had to wait for a warehouse delivery. Andys tires not only had wheels in stock, the price was $50 installed. New wheel plus two new installed tires - 15 minutes I was out the door. Great service, great people. Outstanding value and some nice guys. Did the job quick and paid about 1/3 what I would at Firestone. Tire was in great shape. Makes me really glad that there are still independent used tire places out there. The only problem is that it took a little looking before I found where to pull my car in. After 12 years of driving Chicago streets I got my first flat tire. Andy's tires offered a fast and professional service and the owner went above and beyond to meet my needs. Since I leave in the neighborhood, Andy agreed to dispatch one of his employees to help me change the flat tire to the spare one. After that I drove to the shop and the original tire was fixed within minutes. I guess you don't buy nice hubcaps, you just rent them. I have a Honda Fit, a bit over a year old. I woke up last week to find all four hubcaps missing. I hope the dirtbag who took them had fun with the crack or whatever he bought with the money he got for my hubcaps. I thought about doing without hubcaps, but my car is almost new and it just didn't look right without hubcaps. I shopped around for some way to replace them. I couldn't find anyone who had the original hubcaps for this car, except the Honda dealer, who wanted over $400. No thank you. I got a few referrals but looked up these places on Yelp and found horror stories about blown out tires and rude staff. No thank you again. Then I found Andy's Tires on Yelp. One picture showed a wall full of hubcaps. I called, and they have aftermarket replacement hubcaps, and they take credit cards. Yay! I decided that I wanted aftermarket hubcaps instead of Honda hubcaps because I didn't want to get ones that would be tempting to thieves. I drove out there and met the friendly staff. One of the guys looked at my car and showed me the hubcaps they had that would fit. No Honda logo, that's fine with me, I just want to cover up the sides of the tires. I went to pay for the hubcaps and by the time that was done, the hubcaps were on and looking great. And the price was $43, including installation. Or about 10% of what the Honda dealer wanted. Went to get my 4 new rims installed. They were not busy early on a Saturday . Three guys did it quick and fast. They have all the right tools and balanced my low profile tires smoothly. They speak Spanish also. Bought me new sets of lug nuts and special anti theft key for my rims all for a reasonable price. Went to car x on central first but they guy pretty much lied to me said his machine was broken.. All lies because they didn't want to bother with it since I wasn't buying any of they tires. So I went here passed by it all the time gave it a shot. Excellent service. read more

Another 5 Star Rating for Andy's! After the intervals of inflating my front tire got shorter and shorter, I researched a local tire shop on Yelp and found Andy's. The reviews are 100% accurate. I went in, they told me to pull my Jeep around back, and in 60 seconds they had my truck lifted and the tire off. I made a quick call to a friend, and within 4 minutes they were rolling the tire back out to me. I thought that there was a problem, the interaction was so fast, but the mechanic said, "all set, you can pay inside, it was just a nail." I gladly gave my $15, and was off. It's been a month and my tire is fine, and the weather has fluctuated from 5-60 degrees in the past few weeks. A+ read more

I hate to be THAT person, but I can't give them more than one star because while the service is exceptional, the quality of the tires is not. I got a whole new set of tires for $440 in December, one went flat in April. Easy plug, no big deal. Two weeks later, I skim the curb while parking my car, didn't notice that my tire went flat until I got back in my car and tried to drive. Upon putting in the spare, I noticed the huge gash on the side from where I skimmed the curb...I barely brushed up against it! I've had USED tires that could withstand so much more than that. Of course this wasn't covered under warranty so I went back and paid $95 to replace this tire that I just got 4 months prior. I thought to myself "maybe I did go a little too hard on the curb when I parked", although I've never had this issue with other tires. I was dead wrong. Last night, same thing. Got home, parked my car, brushed up against the curb a little like everyone sometimes does when they get a little too close..not a huge issue. Nope, I came out this morning to leave for work to yet ANOTHER flat tire, and ANOTHER nasty gash on the side. I refuse to go back and spend another $95 on a tire that's apparently so thin I can't even breathe on it without worrying about whether or not it's going to pop. This is absolutely ridiculous. I've accidentally hit potholes going 40 mph with used tires and didn't have an issue. I've had more problems with these brand new tires in the last 3 months than I have in the 4 years I've owned my car. I'm extremely disappointed with the quality of these tires considering how much I spent on them. I'm all for helping local businesses which is one of the reasons I came here, but it's safe to say I will not be returning. read more

I went here to get my winter tires put on a couple of weeks ago. The man, who I believe was the owner, was super nice and he charged me half of what Just Tires wanted to charge me for the switch out! Being a woman I sometimes feel awkward taking my car into an all male shop but he made me feel at ease and let me sit in his office to wait for my car. Took all of 20 minutes which was surprising because Just Tires made me wait an hour for my last tire change. Crazy! I will definitely keep going to them for a whatever comes next in this pot-hole ridden city. read more

My dad sent me here after I had a spare tire on for a while. He's a mechanic and these are his tire guys. They're quick, and the service is great. They were quick to find that there were nails in another wheel that I didn't know about. Getting a new tire and fixing the other one came out to about $115. Not bad at all considering what other shops are charging. Definitely recommended! read more

Fantastic. Went over there (out of my way) based on the reviews here, needed a two-tire balance and a used tire to replace a spare. Got a good-looking used tire with very little tread wear, inclusive of the balancing for two tires the price was $60. And even more important, I think I was in there and back driving in under ten minutes. I'm so used to waiting rooms and lines that I was shocked at how efficient they were. It's a Monday afternoon so they were not crowded, but still. Will definitely be back when it is time to replace all of the tires. read more

I already had new tires and rims on my 2009 Chevrolet Aveo LT that I bought on September 8th, 2008. The cheap plastic rims that I had on my tires ended up bending and deflating some of my tires so I decided to go to this place. I probably didn't even need different tires. I'm very disappointed with Andy's Tires. I bought 4 used tires and 4 rims from them over a year ago. My tires are already worn out and now I have to get new ones already. I spent $540.01 for my tires and rims and the associate at Andy's Tires told me that it was a good deal so I took his word for it unfortunately. Now, my tires are terrible. Two of my tires have been deflating for months and 2 of the tires easily got holes in them. I'm not a reckless driver either. If you decide to get tires here, please get new ones or you will regret it. read more

I found them on yelp when my tire blew nearby and after a quick phone call i was able to get a an appointment within the next 15 min. They fixed the tire and checked pressure on other 3. Affordable and quick when you need them. I may buy new tires from them soon. Prices seem very competitive. read more
