this place is a scam. i sent my truck there 2 times and both times they tried to add more to the end bill and when i asked for a reciept, i was turned down and told they would email me an invoice, which i never got. the second time i took my truck there it was under warranty, and after they fixed it, he told me he had no record of my invoice and we had to pay the whole bill over again. these people are slimy business men and will cheat to get as much money as they can...probably because they know their business sucks and won't be getting many more customers. My SUV broke down on Easter nearly 120 miles from home. I called my roadside assistance company, who spent a good while trying to find me a tow/ride back home. I was on my way somewhere for the week but decided to cancel my trip and head home where my trusted mechanic could take a look. I know insurance companies and such negotiate dirt-cheap rates with tow companies, so I wasn't expecting high quality service given the distance I needed to be towed. It's likely the company accepting the call would end up with the short end of the deal. After passing on the request once, Andy said he'd come get me and help me get my beloved vehicle home when the roadside company ran out of options. I was worried about getting a grumpy driver, considering I was asking someone to make a 4 hour trip on a holiday evening. I was pleasantly surprised- Andy was friendly, understanding and patient, and did his best to make the trip enjoyable and comfortable. Best interaction I've ever had with a towing company! I cannot express enough my appreciation for his willingness to help when no one else would step up. Not that I wish to break down again, but if I do, I hope it's near Houston! read more

My dad has USAA auto insurance. He got his truck stuck in the mud out in the Boonies near Columbus. I called USAA for a wench out covered by his road side assistance. USAA is contracted with Andy's unfortunately. The USAA rep set up the tow which was 50 minutes from our location. I don't know if it was Andy or one of his employees who I spoke to after it was set up to get an ETA. I was surprised that the worker tried to persuade me to go with someone else and get reimbursed through them. I asked if USAA already paid for h to come. He said they dud. I said I didn't want my dad to have to deal with the hassle of getting reimbursed if USAA was contracted with them and had already set it up. So he reluctantly said he was doing an oil change but would be there in 1.5 hours. I said ok we'll see him then and too call if he gets lost and needs directions even though I sent him my GPS location. That was at about 5:30 pm. 7pm roles around and no call no show. I call the Andy's worker at about 7:15. He picks up and but can't hear me apparently...( it seemed like he was faking) I hang up and try to call back. Then it went strait to VM. I do this a couple more times then left a message asking the driver to call me back. I never got a call back..ever. I called USAA explaining my experience. They put me on hold and tried to get a hold of Andy's and after 5 or 10 minutes said they could not reach Andy's either. So I guess they just blew off the job and blew off USAA. Never heard from them again. No apology for wasting my time just total avoidance. So they suck and I hope they go out of business for being so unprofessional. I told USAA that they will hurt they're reputation if they keep doing business with them. Luckily I spoke to someone who referred us to Fernandez and sons and the experience could not have been better. Night and day difference in service...but it wasn't until the next day. I want to say thank you to Andy's for leaving us out in the cold wet mud after committing to a job. read more

This is THE WORST towing company I have ever dealt with. My car is quite unreliable, so I have some experience dealing with tow companies for help. Andy's Wrecker is by far the worst. I was given an estimated time arrival of 1 hour. 3 and a half hours later the truck showed up. I called the main office for help and the woman working the front desk there was even more incompetent than the tow truck driver who kept reassuring me he was "20 minutes away" for a full 2 hours. They failed to provide their service and yet were completely adamant on being fully compensated. Avoid this company at all costs! read more
