The hotel is very quiet and I barely saw people around, not even at the pool area, which by the way close promptly at 7pm. Our unit was very basic but clean and with the essential things you need for short stay. It was located in the first floor, with a little terrace facing a fence and grass, so no view at all. The apartment does not have a/c coincidentally, so even though it was not that hot outside, sleeping at night was uncomfortable. A fan would be a good addition. The bed was not very comfortable either. The WiFI and water pressure and temperature were good. The people working there were very nice and attentive. No toiletries at all in the room. The best aspect of this hotel is the supermarket in the first floor where you can get anything you need.

When we first pulled up to the Cay Beach princess bungalows we a little apprehensive as the bar area was very tiny and there was no lounge area for drinks, but we did remind our selfes that we usually stayed in hotels and this was only a self catering place and it would have less facilities to what we were used to. As this was only a last minute quick break we were not worried as we like to explore and have drinks in lots of different places. The staff on arrival were very helpful and told us how to get to our accomodation and this was explained very well and we found it straight away. on opening the door we were very impressed we had two large sofas and a dinning area with four chair in a split level longe the table being on the higher part. it led to an averagly stocked kitchen with the usual cutlery in it, personally myself i don't enjoy eating in other than for a cup of tea/coffee. The place had a small courtyard off of the kitechen where they had a pull out washing line and a sink with a bucket and mop in it. the bedroom was just off the lounge this also split off into a large bathroom. All together i was very impressed with what i saw. The ppol was spectacular better than some 4/5 star hotels i've stayed in. They had plenty of sunbed lots of room and thpool was huge they also had a large childs poolwhich was heated in the winter months, they had a paddling pool for tots and a large jacuzzi for around 145 people. They also had some hydro beds in a little area like a sunbed in a small pool that would have jacuzzi style bubbles down the back of it. very nice. A good little pool bar serving snacks as well as the usual drinks. open from 10.30 when we were there but in the summer i'm sure it would be earlier. They have crazy golf, childrens play area, 3 pool tables, table tennis, air hockey and various board games you could rent. A great place to stay AAA*

What makes this worse is that on a previous day the same staff member admitted she knew exactly which shoes they were -- yet now she denies any knowledge of them. This raises serious concerns about honesty and security. I trusted the hotel with my personal belongings and they have gone missing with no explanation or accountability. Guests deserve to feel confident that their property is safe in the care of staff, but sadly that has not been the case here. I am currently still waiting on the camera footage from the hotel my property went missing 3 days ago !

The rooms have a modern twist in an old style shell but has been done quite well. The furniture is plastic and cheap although the bed is large and comfortable. As you can see good and bad is the theme here. Breakfast on the otherhand was VERY disappointing with watered down Fressens squeezed orange juice. A Heinz ketchup bottle refilled with watery tomato sauce... REALLY do u think I wouldn't know???? The whole set up for breakfast is poor and disorganised and I would NOT pay for this unless included in price next time. I have stayed here before and don't recall being as disappointed. However this place is not all that and nexttlme (because we come here now frequently from Tenerife) I will check around for other hotels.

I stayed here just for the night dying to get out of the Las Palmas and into the desert. The location is beautiful with views of the famous sand dunes from the hotel. The rooms were lovely with a nice private balcony. The hotel grounds were beautiful as well as the hotel itself. And greeted with champaign while waiting to be checked in. Since Gran Canarians are known if their rudeness basically making London seem like great customer service, so I always have to know when I receive customer service. We ended up getting an April promotion and stayed two nights for 221 EUR (Regular 321 EUR) off their website. The hotel is gorgeous inside with excellent facilities, especially the outdoor pools on different levels. Most importantly, the back entrance to the hotel kicks you right out onto the beach. Playa de Ingles is pretty hilly and you need to walk a substantial distance to the beach from other hotels. The IFA is built almost over a cliff, so you can go out the top and be at the top of the hills where all the shops, restaurants, etc are.... Great views of the massive beach/dunes and lots of great restaurants in the area. Highly recommend a visit to this area, even if people say it is too touristy! It is that way for a reason :)

The hotel is huge with numerous restaraunts and swimming pools. The food is great and there are plenty of it and despite it being a buffet you never really have to queue as there are is so much to choose from spread out over a massive beautiful dining room. Words cannot describe the look of the hotel and I highly recommend you find their website and check it out. The facilities, location, food and staff are fantastic and we will definately be returning (no I don't work there or own it - I wish!).
