I think the place must have been an underground storage room or something - similar to the ones underneath covent garden, so there are several semi-separate sections, with sofas and tables, where you can sit and chat while you're not dancing. This is quite nice, and gives the place an intimate feel. The music is pretty good, and the dance floor is a nice size - not too big, but big enough. Also, I lost my keys there the other day, and gave them a call, and they found them and looked after them for me, which is pretty good service for a club! Thanks! The closest tubes are Moorgate and Barbican. The club is reasonably obvious by the side of the road.

Despite all of that, we did have a good time and when it came down to going home, they had someone outside arranging taxi's for people that needed them or you can walk in your drunken state to the nearest tube station!

It is a little out of the way of the busiest parts of Bexleyheath which is its appeal to me. I have never seen much trouble there on my visits compared to for instance The Furze Wren or RSVP up the road although I wouldn't bet against it happening at some point. The pub is quite long and narrow with no windows which means towards the back of the pub you can be forgiven for forgetting that the outside world exists. The booths down one side of the bar are good for groups that wish to have a talk amongst themselves in privacy. On busy nights the staff can be under a lot of pressure and you might have to wait a little bit to get served but they do acknowledge waiting customers which settles you and makes you feel like you're not being ignored. All in all, I quite like The Wrong' Un compared to the other Wetherspoons on offer in Bexleyheath as a place to socialise and have a conversation with a mate, but it lacks that something special which would make me want to specifically go there for a night out.

Food is great, drinks are plentiful and back then it seemed a lot of regulars were visiting the pub daily. The owners are good. The lady was fantastic, the husband can be obnoxious sometime but he is a no nonsense kid of a guy. The lady of the pub is actually an American, which of course was a plus. They were very nice to our daughters and had no problems making them food that was not on the menu. BTW if you like meat this is your place! Owners are dog lovers and their two dogs were always at the pub. They were great and friendly. They just lay on the rug and mind their own business. We were in London for 8 days and visited this pub at least once a day. Our girls loved the puppies and made sure we stopped every day. I would highly recommend this place.

They have a big plasma screen TV near the bar for showing sports. The seating varies throughout the bar, with standard pub style tables in some areas, but more cosy armchairs and coffee tables in others. The pub is pretty large and is well laid out as mentioned by the other reviewer. The beer range is a bit limited: only two real ales, and just the big name lagers on draft, including Becks Vier, Kronemburg (3.30 a pint which I felt was a bit expensive) etc. The standard range of wines and spirits are also available. I've not yet tried the food but will give it a go and report back. On my two visits it certainly wasn't packed, but still had a reasonable number of customers for a Sunday and Tuesday night. It is the only pub for a fair distance, so should have the potential to be the local for thousands of people. As you can see from the photo I took - it's 'probably' the oldest pub in Putney. If you're in the area and fancy a drink, pop into the Arab Boy and you shouldn't be disappointed.

I haven't been to many pubs in UK during daytime yet, so maybe I'm jumping the gun, but the people are very friendly in here and the cost is very reasonable. Tends to have older gentlemen in there mostly, with a few of everyone else as the day goes on.

I think because it has charm. It's a proper old fashioned London boozer; old photos on the walls, a selection of ales, wooden floors, bar and furniture, frosted windows â" all that malarkey and a completely unpretentious feel. Everyone likes it, which is evident from the mixed bag of people you get inside which only adds to its appeal. Unlike some of my friends who cannot fault the place, my problem is the lighting; I think it's too bright and wish they'd just unscrew a few of the bar lights to make it more inviting and true to its namesake. I am also disappointed by the prices which seem to be rising slowly but surely. This is not a cheap option despite its looks. Summer nights are best the Hermits when the punters spill out onto the pavements, but equally a winter evening is great, curled up inside with one of the many warm beverages on offer - a hot toddy or mulled wine is always best in an old-fashioned pub. It has a basic decor and very large windows, which was handy, as I was looking out for a friend. The barman was really pleasant. I asked for a half of a draught beer. He asked me if I was sure. He then offered me a taste before I ordered. I agreed with him and changed my mind. I appreciated this, as he did not have to give me the heads up. For me this really is a bar for a quick one before moving on somewhere else. Yes, I would come back but purely as quite meeting point, have one, then move on.
