I'm glad she booked me in because on a Sat afternoon, it was very busy with walk-ins. It's not a chatty establishment. There's no - 'So where are you going on holiday this year' chat. I had never appreciated just how technical painting your nails can get. After soaking my hands and having my cuticles pushed and pulled from my fingers (I think) I was a little bit in awe of the Military Precision that went into making my Manicure-Virgin Hand turn into Shiny Shiny pretty nails. The woman doing my nails seemed like she ran the place and was very - direct with me. I think I kind of liked it.... I'm not a massive girly girl in that way so I don't think a manicure will be a regular thing for me. But if I get invited to a wedding or something I think I'd spend the £10 to have my hands sorted out and pretty. There are a whole range of other things they offer - the pedicure looks pretty good. All at reasonable prices and without the painful small talk.

I had nail paint all over my hands, smudged nails with marks on them and they looked clump. Although I was desperate I would have rather had my old nails on, waste of money and time. Wouldn't go back or recommend.

They had been cut down really short that they're now actually sore. When I informed the lady about this she told me I was wrong and they they were straight! Even the nail polish isn't even. My hands - the nail shape I wanted is totally different to what I received. I asked for coffin and received something else. They're uneven on sides, not at all smooth. Some edges are sharp and others smooth. Considering I was charged £48 I'm horrified at the service!!
