If you're into stained glass window art- there were a lot to choose from starting with simple acorn styles to fine mosaic style and Tiffany rose window style. Hunting through tables overflowing with vintage finds, textiles, pottery, jewelry, and home goods, plus the sport of bargaining with vendors. The French Market Marin takes place on the second Sunday of each month at the Civic Center in San Rafael. Some prices felt too high, but it's free to attend, worth a visit and there were still finds. Parking is also free and plentiful. I found unique vintage silver jewelry at fair prices, and several sellers had priced to sell, or were willing to negotiate. We skipped food stalls, but overall this is a fun outdoor Sunday outing, with shopping, food and even musicians, reminiscent of French vintage outdoor markets, with layers of items set out on tables & sometimes too high prices.

I immediately set 2 items down and asked ok how about these 2 items he responded with $ 45 each i asked would you consider $ 50 for the pair ? a fair price as I buy and sell for a living. the owners response and I quote " i would rather set them on fire then accept that price !! " mind you he made no mention of any sale and it was quite obvious that inspight of closing his shop forever within the next hour he had no intention of selling a dam thing !! I had hundreds of dollars cash money in my pocket ready to buy , but the owner was rude and simply unwilling to sell anything !! needless to say my wife and I left empty handed and blown away by the off the wall experience and incredibly rude owner !!
