The waiting staff are really friendly and always happy to recommend a particular dish or arrange for something to be cooked to order i.e. pepper steak, no pepper! I highly recommend this for a reasonably priced, low-key dinner. It's in the middle of nowhere, but worth missing out a few glasses of wine with your meal in order to be the designated driver. Even though it could be classed as a pub restaurant, I have never taken my children there as it definitely feels like more of a pub than a restaurant. When I approached the guy behind the bar to let him know we were still waiting, he was horrible, not at all sympathetic. He was actually really rude! The supervisor did refund the cost of the meal and she was apologetic but we definitely won't be back unless the bar guy with the attitude problem gets the sack!
