My little ones are all under the age of 4 and have no problem getting around the play area (although monkey bars and the zip line are a little out of the question). There are 2 swings, one regular and the order inclusive. There's a small shelter right by the playground with 2 picnic tables. Behind the swing area is a large grassy area for kids to run around and play ball. At this park, there are soccer fields on the opposite end of the playground and parking lot. I haven't had to the chance to actually explore that area so I can't say much on that. Also, it doesn't appear that there are any public restrooms or porta potty nearby, which can be challenging for children just learning to be potty trained so I guess just come prepared. Other than that, there isn't really anything terrible to say. It's a decent park and my kids enjoy it so no complaints.

The park features a basketball court, a picnic shelter, a playground, and picnic tables. It seems a little out dated and trashy. You will find 2 fenced in playgrounds areas here. The larger playground area, which is designed for older kids, has has a large jungle gym with a rock climbing structure, monkey rings, slides, bridges, tunnels and canopies. There is also a bank of traditional/ADA swings here. The area is lined with wood chips, with a rubber mat path going down the center. The other playground area, which is designed for pre-schoolers, has a small jungle gym with a rock climbing wall, a small canopy, a small rock climbing wall and a couple of slides. It seems much older and worn than the one on the other side. There is also a small blue wooden house, a mock pirate ship, a rocker animal and a few plastic tables and cars that you would get from a department store in this section as well. The area is lined with rubber matting and sand. It was not my favorite area to say the least. In between the two fenced playground areas, you will find a few benches to sit. The picnic shelter has a bunch of picnic tables under it and is in decent shape. The basketball court is a full court and is in fair shape. The park has a fair amount of green space to play, but the grass does have a large bald spot in the front that is just dirt and a few patches near the basketball court. The back side of the park, across the walkway, is where you will find some picnic tables and grills in a shaded area. This park needs a little TLC and updates to get it back up to speed. It is a fair park and would be an ok place to pass time if you are in the area. It would not be my go-to or destination park though. It does have a lot of potential though and I hope that it makes the needed modifications to reach that potential.

The main issue is Burke is known for its unbelievably huge and vibrant parks, that offer so many more recreational opportunities. This is a playground and a small basketball court. There is a bit of open space, and to its credit it's quiet. Little ones seven and under should like the playground and slides. There are some decent play areas on it, although it's not huge by any means. Playing basketball works. The court here is usually available to practice on. It could use a bit of renovation, but for the next year or so should be fine. I'll give this a recommendation, but don't expect high on the wow factor.

The community center itself is in a historic stone building. The park is behind it with a section for smaller kids and a rope playground with a massive blue slide for older kids. There's a trail that leads to the remains of a castle.

The tunnel slide is clearly the highlight of the park, but the only way to get there is up a large spiderweb that has large gaps in it that are not suitable to toddlers who have yet to develop the capacity to get up the ropes themselves. They have a couple baby swings (love they have the duo swing) and a spiderweb swing. The boat with binoculars is cute. There's also a little playhouse with a toddler slide. The fake grass has some nice hills to run up and down. There's plenty of seating available. The park is pretty Empty during the week. Once school lets out it gets busier. Parking is available both on the street and in a lot. I'd return here again, but only when my toddler (who turned 2 last month) can at least help me get him through the ropes to the big blue slide.
