First, the one positive is the store, it's layout and ambience. It ended there. We bought a new…read morerange after electrical problems caused it to blow up, melting the area around it. Of course the one we selected was out of stock. Whether this was Sara's word or a con by the vendor we are not sure. However, we were expecting an immediate delivery. Day 8, it is still not here. My electrician called Tuesday and Wednesday ready to begin working. Sara likes manipulating words. For instance, Monday or Tuesday it should leave Dallas. Wednesday or Thursday it should get to the warehouse. Thursday or Friday it should be delivered. Friday between 11 and 11:30 it should be delivered. It is 2:30 now. At 2:00 some delivery person called about our address. He stated that the range was still at the warehouse. In every case where two days were given it was always the second day. Dealing with Chuck the salesman solved no problems. He did not expedite the process or attempt to provide a solution. Only empty promises. Now it looks like I have to postpone my electricians afternoon time since I am positive it will not come. By the way, the 'out of stock' one we replaced with a more expensive model. I believe this is a deliberate attempt to defraud the customer and whether done by Sara or Whirlpool it looks suspicious.

I always ask for Chad, he takes good care of me and gets straight to the issue and doesn't waste my time. Glancing at the other reviews, from what I understand, rebuilding or cleaning a carburetor is a pretty normal fix on small engines. Fuel issues, like dirty fuel, or debris getting into the carb after the fact can cause "revving" noises. I can't speak to that specific situation, but in my experience this shop has always been honest and reliable, which is why I keep going back. Thank you, Southwest Mower.

We were amazed at the amount of items in the store. They are definitely known for their tv stock. When all was said and done we ended up with a 55" LCD Toshiba tv for $500!!!! And that includes a 6 month warranty which allows you to upgrade of you choose. Back to the CS...we were greeted by an employee named Esteban, he was an older man and the most down to earth guy I've met in a while. He was very informative and saw that my husband and I were on a budget and gave us the tv dirt cheap. On top of that it happened to be raining that day and as we were trying to load the tv it stormed like nobody's business! On top of that the tv wouldn't fit in my husbands car (challenger). So with some ingenuity and determination Esteban dismantled the tv so it would fit. This guy went above and beyond his call of duty. He even gave us a blanket for the tv so it wouldn't get wet. All in all this process took about 45 minutes. The entire time Esteban was patient and friendly!! All he asked was to be invited over for the game and a cold beer!! Way to go EZ Pawn!! Who said EBay was the only way to buy used goods!! Keepin it old school!!
