My situation: Overgrown, lazy brows, as I was convincing myself I was growing them out for a better shape and would get around to them later when, in fact, they were just a patchy, bushman mess. Finally, I found this incredibly well-reviewed salon on Yelp, and decided to give in! I walked in around noon with no appointment, and was taken immediately. The girl who did my brows was polite and confident, which I liked. Of course it's painful - anyone who says ripping hair out of your face isn't is a liar and in denial. I am just so IN LOVE with the precision that threading gives over waxing. It takes a little bit longer, but the beautiful shape you end up with is so worth it. My new favorite threading salon! My brows had been uneven for a long time, and it was a woman here that brought them back to perfect symmetry. It was mostly painless, except for the eyelid and the forehead, but really it wasn't bad at all. You shouldn't let concern of slight pain prevent you from getting threaded. Also, the rose-scent massage was gentle and calming. My eyebrows have never looked so good, and my skin feels great. Directions: The northwest plaza at Goldenwest and Westminster. It's in the northeast nook of the of the plaza, in between a furniture store and a post office. If you're turning in from the Wyoming street light, make an immediate right turn once you're inside the plaza and you'll see it. If you're in the main, big parking lot, you're in the wrong place; go to the tiny narrow lot facing Goldenwest. read more

Tuesday's eyebrow specials are the best! $8 for quick, quality service. What a steal! I always walk in without an appointment and its never been a problem. Even with today being the special I was taken in right away. Don't worry too much about who does your eyebrows because all three ladies are amazing at threading. You can, however, specify who you want to work with when you sign in. Highly recommend this place! FYI the post-threading massage on your brows feels like heaven. I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I used to go to the Brow Mantra in Fullerton, but the results were so inconsistent that I was fed up. I went on yelp and tried this place. I met with Tripta and OMG, my brows have never looked better. She even asked me if I was trying to get fuller looking brows and when I was done I had the best brows in my life. Most places I've been going to just do them however they see the shape, but this place was so nice. I went back another time and got another lady (can't remember name) because Tripta was busy and I was in a rush. The brows were about 90% of Tripta's which isn't bad because it was a different lady doing my brows. The method of how they do their brows is consistent at this place. So I would give it zero stars if possible. I've come here in other occasions and have walked out satisfied(#1 and #3). So I came and the lady with the station that has no number did my eyebrows. She left one of my eyebrows looking like somebody took a bite out of it. She still had the audacity to charge me for it!! Till I told her I don't think it was fair for me to pay for such shitty job. I know I did a review for Perfect Brows in Orange and was very satisfied with the service there, but after seeing how beautiful my friend's brows were and hearing that she got them done here, I decided to give this place a try instead and am so glad that I did. As much as I liked Perfect Brows, they gave my brows more of an arch than I had wanted. Granted my brows still looked nice, but I prefer the natural, thick, straight brow look. After reading the reviews for this place, I wanted to get my brows done by Tripta, but unfortunately, I'm busy on the days she's available since I read that she's in Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and so I stopped by hoping Kopita would do them instead since she also has gotten great reviews. I came in on a Monday around 5:30pm and signed in asking for Kopita. Sadly, Kopita wasn't in, and so I said that I would be fine with anyone. A really nice lady took me in and she turned out to be TRIPTA!!! All the positive reviews for her stand true. I am so so so happy with my brows. I asked her to keep them straight, thick, and natural and she did just that. She was very meticulous while doing my brows and always asked if there was anything I wanted her to fix. I also got my upper lip done, which hurts quite a bit, but beauty is pain. Altogether, I paid $13 for both my brows and upper lip. The massage at the end is also to die for! I highly recommend Tripta. Definitely call in ahead of time and ask if she's in. Sorry Perfect Brows, but this is my new go to place now. read more

I used to be an eyebrow waxing kinda gal but now I have turned into an eyebrow threading kinda gal...all thanks to ANGELS BEAUTY THREADING =) Top three reasons why I like this place: 1) When I get my eyebrows threaded here, the shape of my eyebrows are always kept the same. They don't alter my original shape like most other places do. 2) The ladies here are nice (they massage your head and temples after they're finished threading and it always feels so relaxing...) 3) The price of $8 for an eyebrow threading is not too shabby at all! I found this place about 2 years ago and would come during my lunch breaks. (Next to the post office). Best part was that I rarely had to wait and they did a great job and the prices were very reasonable! I used to go to the FOREVER LONG LINE for Tina at Vinita's in Tustin, but having to wait for more than 1 hour was ridiculous! This place is just as good - I think I usually went to Tripta or Honey - and they always would give you a mini head/temple massage! Before this place opened, I always went to Hollywood Eyebrows at Westminster Mall. That place.. Ugh, I'll save comments for a review on that crappy place later.. Hollywood Eyebrows failed me so many times and the prices went up, it was my destiny to look for a new place. Anywhoooo, I've been a regular here since they first opened. It took me a while to figure out which lady was my go-to lady. The threading god shined a light on my dear soul and I finally found her. The lady on station 1 is my go-to. Why? Because she knows exactly what I want, does it perfectly and in the end her eyebrow massages are on POOOOINT. Let me say that again.. ON POINT! Other ladies, they half ass their massages but this one can instantly make a headache go away or put you to sleep.. THATS HOW AMAZING SHE IS! Overall, this is my place to go to. I tried every station at angel's and they're all very good! My favorite threading lady out of everyone is Tripta (station 3)! She's super friendly and understands how you want your brows. She takes her time and she's very careful! My sister had her brows threaded by the lady at station one and I guess something happened, so they had tripta double check on her brows and she basically took over for station one. My sister was very impressed and she loved the excellent service! When we left, we forgot to get tripta's name. I came in today to get my brows threaded and tripta did my brows and she was amazing! I used to think this place was A+/5 stars because they were consistent and good. However, the last two times I've gone the quality of the place has gone down a lot. It's been barely 2 weeks since I got my eyebrows done and I have so many ingrown and broken hairs that are growing back in looking like stubble! When threading is done properly the hair is pulled at the root and don't come back thick and broken. I would excuse it, but this has happened the last TWO times I went to this place! My senior prom is in a couple days and I desperately needed to get my brows picture-ready. I'm very glad my friend decided to take me along with her to try Angels'! The first thing that got me going was the extremely affordable prices! I got my eyebrows done for only $8. I heard it was $10 so to find it at $8 only made the experience better! I've seen threading prices range from $15-$50 so $8 was hardly a sacrifice for nicely manicured brows. The actual salon is relatively new; the grand opening sign is still up. There are four stations open, all of which are clean and organized. There are also enclosed rooms for waxing and facials. I found it kind of strange though because there was only one person working at the time I went. Lunch time for the other employees? The clientele seems small based on the sign-in list so space wasn't an issue. It may be because the location is overshadowed by the surrounding post office and larger businesses with larger signs out front. It might be hard to see if you're not driving by slow enough to look for it, since the business isn't listed up on the plaza directory. My friend and I came without appointments and there was only one customer being worked on when we arrived, so there was hardly any wait time. Eyebrows take about 15 minutes so it's okay to book other appointments on the same day. We both had our brows done by Honey, who is very nice. She was considerate to ask my friend if it was her first time, to which my friend replied yes. I don't know if she does anything different for first timers like us, but we thought it was nice that she asked. The conversation kind of ended there though. She did not consult with either of us about what we wanted done or anything and just started going at our eyebrows. Luckily she knew what she was doing because we had no idea what was going on, we kept our eyes closed so we wouldn't cry. My friend and I both walked out satisfied and pleasantly surprised that we were in and out in less than an hour with worth-the-money brows. The actual procedure is quite tear-jerking. It's essentially plucking but multiple hairs at a time rather than just one at a time. The angles and shapes come out nicely this way since you can remove lines of hair rather than single hairs. Honey spent a considerable amount of time to make sure my brows matched and finished off with aloe vera and a massage to calm down fresh skin. All of this was done with Indian music playing, which was quite relaxing and probably made the experience less painful than it could have been. Our brow areas weren't red for long and we got feeling back in our brows in about fifteen minutes. I've plucked and waxed before but this is now my to-go place for eyebrow manicuring. I stepped in this establishment around 5pm on a Sunday night and it took about 5 min to thread, however, I was surprised that this also came with an eyebrow massage. One major reason I have my eyebrows threaded is because I have a lot of scarring tissue around and on my eyebrows. I have been coming to this location for the pass three years so I would estimate i have had my eyebrows threaded at least 50 times here. The lady that I go to is the seated at the last chair toward the back. Overall the ladies do an excellent job as far as cleaning up my eyebrows without making me them look to feminine. I admit the ladies might be a little to rough compared to other places I have been. But my eyebrows are thick added the scarring tissue I understand I am not the easiest corpse to thread. I moved out of Westminster a year ago but continue to stop by here every two weeks. But i will not be coming back as I found s couple of descent threading places closer to where I live. The only problem I have with this place is the ladies who thread here are very standoffish. Except for the the lady on the second chair who actually would say hello mainly because she use to live in my apartment complex. But among the other threaders they make me feel awkward. There is no good morning or hello or how are you doing. I assumed perhaps because I am a male and based on their Indian culture maybe it's not acceptable to speak to much with other males. But after coming here for so long I noticed they do not speak much at all not even to the female customers. The place just feels weird because of the long silence. read more

I chose this place because of all the good reviews and there wasn't a lot of horror stories. I didn't want anyone to butcher my eyebrows because we all know it takes forever to grow back. I asked for Tripta or Honey and Tripta ended up helping me. My brows looked decent but when I came home I realized it was uneven! One was higher than the other. This review has been a long time coming but...this place is my new go to place for threading. I've been to more than 5 different threading places, and this place far exceeds them all. I've been going here for at least 6 months and I get a full face threading every time (yes it hurts). Kopila does an EXCELLENT job. She's always at station/chair #1. She's super meticulous...and makes sure she gets all those lingering lip and chin hairs... If there's one thing I can't stand, it's that those get missed... PLUS!!! (Yes, it's a huge plus) They throw in a little face massage or massage in the area you received threading after your threading treatment is finished! It's pretty amazing and I always wish it were a bit longer...but I am thankful for what I can get. read more

I've tried Ziba and Nanu and was not impressed the way I am with Angels Beauty! The shop, decor, and ambiance is not fancy, but I'm not really there to admire that. Although all the ladies do a good job, I can't help but continuously return to Honey. She always does a great job. My eyebrows and lips are always completely hairless. Occasionally they'll get busy, but appointments are really not necessary. I've never waited more than 10 minutes. 95% of the time I don't have to wait at all. I've been getting my eyebrows done here for almost two years now. I've gotten my brows threaded at all 4 stations and they all do a wonderful job. The lady at station number 3 is exceptionally patient and makes sure you're satisfied with your brows every step of the way. However, after getting them done with different people, I'd have to say that station number 1 is my favorite. Just because she keeps my brows consistent every time I come in and that's something I really look for. My brows are incredibly hard to work with but she does such an amazing job every time. I asked if she could shape them so they are the same, she gave me a lazy "mhmm" and just went on to do them. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND getting them done here. There is always a long line for this threading shop on the corner of Westminster Blvd and Golden West. I waited for a good 20 minutes to get my threading done, but they did do a wonderful job. It was a quick 10-15 minute process and was slightly painful, but the shaping of my brows was done well. I went on a Tuesday so there was an $7 deal for threading! I just tipped an additional $3 to make it an even $10. The other nice thing about this location was that I arrived about 15 minutes before closing time. The ladies were super patient and stayed after their working hours so that every customer was satisfied. I would definitely come back. read more
