I went to the place where I had bought my blinds, but they didn't have all the parts I needed, and they weren't accustomed to selling parts; only providing repairs. The parts I did get them to sell me were unexpectedly high. I started trying other Hunter Douglas locations. In my search, I stumbled across this gem! Lizzy Moorhouse was so pleasant and helpful. She was knowledgeable about my blinds, which had been discontinued. Although they didn't carry all of the parts anymore, she offered me a solution and I walked away with everything I needed to get my blind working perfectly again. AND their prices were lower than expected! After all my hours of learning how my blind worked, researching the parts, then searching for parts (and time and money wasted with the grommets that weren't long enough for the thickness of the blind), I wish I had found this business FIRST. I think the store is a wonderful idea, but I am just not into retro! They carry furniture and home accents from the 1950's through to the 1980's. The inventory changes all the time and they only carry items in close to if not perfect condition. I do really like some of the light fixtures they have as well as the odd funky lamp, but I just don't know that I could find a loving home for a lot of the items in there. It is an acquired taste for sure and if you LOVE garage sales, yard sales, and retro collectibles then you will LOVE this store!

There's a little play area for kids also a tea and snacks station. ( candies which comes in handy when you're shopping with a toddler) There's also a great selection and the prices are very reasonable. We bought two lights here and we had no problem returning the one we didn't want. A couple days later we noticed some scratches on our light we kept and again we had no problem exchanging this light. I would highly recommend this place. They have a unique selection of lights and the staff is great.

Many of their sheets are imported from Italy, so expect a higher price, but also an unbelievably comfortable bed! They have just branched out into kitchen items as well and have some very high end appliances that I could see fitting perfectly on my counter top.
