This is a small school but is big enough to have several children in each age group, so they get plenty of work that is aimed at the right level. the teachers are very approachable, and the children all seem very happy there. Trowse primary school is part of a cluster of small local schools and between them they arrange several sports competitions. Results have always been good and the OFSTED reports good too. The head teacher is very keen on drama and the children have put on some really good school plays and productions over the years. My only reason for not giving this school 5 stars is that it does not have its own school field. This is not a huge problem though because it has arranged with the ski club in the village to use the field there. Other facilities for sport are available at the local YMCA.

Dussindale Primary School opened its doors for the first time in September 2007. A year later there…read moreare 115 pupils in the school from reception to years 2/3, and this number will continue to grow until the school has all years from reception to year 6. The building is a fantastic purpose built structure on two levels designed to look a bit like a boat which highlights the vision of the school that the children should be on a 'voyage of discovery'. As you would expect it has all the latest in technology and ICT equipment in the classrooms, as well as a separate computer suite. The hall is used for school dinners and assemblies as well as for PE with it's excellent gymnastic equipment. There's a lovely new library which is well-stocked and a cookery room. It even has an outside circular classroom on the top floor with a 'sail-like' canvas covering. Also outside there is an all-weather sports pitch (muga-pitch), grassy areas, a wildlife garden and pond which is still underdevelopment and several play grounds, one of which has an 'amphitheatre' for lessons and shows. It certainly looks the business but of course has yet to prove itself. Certainly the staff are lovely and seem dedicated and I'm pleased with the progress my child is making at the school and she's very happy there. They aim to make every child 'the best I can be' and I wish them well with this!

My…read morechildren are both sporty and with this school being a specialist sports college, they are well provided for with a really good range of sports and dance available. A new sports hall was built a couple of years ago which provides the local community with sports facilities as well, giving a range of activities and school holiday activities. The school consistently gets good exam results and good OFSTED reviews, last being visited by OFSTED last year. The current head teacher seems genuinely interested in the children and has a good team around her.

as a student a framingham earl high school, i should know an awful lot about it. the teachers are…read morefriendly and the pupils are nice too. we have assembly once a week and exciting form times. we have five 1 hour lessons a day with a 50 minute lunch and a 15 minute break after 2nd lesson. the food is good for school lunches and they are made by the kitchen staff that very day in the canteen. the school is a sports college and so is very specific about our fitness. there is an anti bullying group in school called taboo where pupils can go if they have any problems or troubles. the sports centre is open for the public to use during the evenings, at weekends and in the holidays with numerous clubs for people of all ages.
