Firstly, we were told that they were not accepting anymore "names" due to them being short staff. We ran in from outside during a heavy shower of rain so it was frustrating that we had to get seafood to go. But we were understanding with it being due to short staff. The wait for the food wasn't long at all. We all ordered the seafood bags and that was a terrible mistake! The food was SO BLAND! Literally no spice and seasoning. & I ordered CAJUN LEMON PEPPER with MEDIUM sauce. Almost $50 and it wasn't worth it all!!! The boiled egg tasted terrible...I can't find the word to describe it. The potato was not seasoned either and tasted like it wasn't washed before boiling it. These sausages were short breakfast links (size of your pinky ..maybe half the size). The bags are small and narrow. The shrimp was cooked nicely (not rubbery) but it didn't have any flavor. I would not recommend this place at all. I didn't see any of the two negative reviews until after I was disappointed with my food. Been there twice now and the service has been consistently phenomenal. Their boil bags are absolutely delicious. My first trip I got the king crab legs, and I swear that was way more than a pound of king crab. The second trip I got lobster, and it absolutely did not disappoint. Both trips my wife has gotten the lobster rolls, which she absolutely loves with their sweet potato french fries. Broiled oysters for appetizer each time and they're delicious. We had about 5 servers and still did not receive all of our food or drinks. after complaining to the "manager" some little dude pretended to be a manager and told us we needed to pay our bill and leave. why were we upset? because we were ignored and poorly served. So I finally got to try this place out after it opened in February. I ordered the Cajun seafood boil of the main seafood being shrimp [+heads] with an add on of one cluster of dungeness. I had the trifecta sauce which I believe is all three sauces combined which they say they are famous for. I also added a side of rice, potatoes, and an egg which are all a la carte. Overall the service was great. My main server was Cody who was very great at giving an introduction to the restaurant and someone is always walking by just to make sure you're taken care of. As for the food, I would say it's definitely a good experience if you've never tried the "Asian style seafood sauce". I will say the trifecta sauce felt either very oily or it may have been the butter. I got it in medium and it does have some spice to it if you have a low tolerance for spicy! The seafood was cooked perfectly. The potatoes seemed over cooked and the rice was a bit dry however. The pricing is about average for a seafood boil like this. I felt full at the end and had some to take home left over but if you have a big appetite you may spend more on food which can add up but I feel that's just the nature of eating seafood. read more

1 star is too high for this excessively over priced strip mall, Arizona based seafood chain. $15 a pound for boiled crawfish, no sides, pre-boiled weight, is one example. $28 per pound for crab legs. I know they serve them to yiu, and they provide table and chair, but i can buy boiled crawfish for $3 per pound at grocery, and $5-$6 per pound at numerous other restaurants. So, i opted for the soft shell crab platter for $15. I got battered fries, small container of baked beans, and two crabs. The crabs took two bites to consume. To say they were tiny is an exaggeration. Microscopic is a better reference. Wife got a scallop bowl, of carrots, brocoli, noodles, and 5 scallops. The #2 sauce was so hot, the bowl could not be eaten. Let me say im from South Louisiana, but #2 is the 2nd lowest heat they offer, #6 is the hottest. Summation, im not going back. read more

Listen, I'm use to NOLA cuisine, so this isn't the 504, but the fresh items and great drinks accounted for a lot. We started with the lobster crustini, moved on to a small Caesar with grilled shrimp and then finished with shrimp/oyster poboy and the grilled shrimp linguini. The linguini dish was nice, fresh and well seasoned, BUT no sauce. Not sure why I expected some sort of sauce, there's nothing. Cajun fries with the poboy were da bomb.com. Angry Crab Shack is a great seafood place, is a "backyard eating" restaurant, and all the seafood is served in a bag with no utensils. Our server, Alyssa, was super nice, and she was very patient. There was outside seating, and there was a band playing in the background. The food we ate tasted amazing, and it came out hot. The fries, chicken tenders, and fish & chips were perfectly fried. The mussels were level 1 in spice, and they were pretty hot, but still enjoyable. If you are going first time, I recommend not getting anything above level 2, because of how spice level 1 was. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, and they had live lobsters near the entrance. I totally recommend this place, especially if you like seafood. read more
