Still love going to Angry Tofu. My whole family is now a fan since my last review. Love the banchan. I ordered a dumpling soup last time and it came bubbling hot. Cool presentation. The LA Galbi had good flavor. It could have maybe been a bit less cooked and more tender, but still very good. Service is always good. The dining area is comfortable. 4.5 Stars

The food at Angry Tofu is real authentic korean food. You have to be patient. As they prepare your dishes. My mom and I decided to have lunch. We ordered several dishes. It's important to know. They prepar large portions for everyone to share. Please consider that when your ordering. You are served several dishes. I love that. When you walk in. You are greeted by your server. The ambiance is quiet. The servers are very attentive. When your in the Weatherfield are of Connecticut. Stop into Angry Tofu. To all my yelpers. Let's continue to eat our way through the world. #Foodie4life!!

Finally able to sit down and eat in, ambiance is nice, feels like I'm at an actual spot in Korea. Service is good, they checked on me a good amount of time. Refilled my tea like clock work. Food in my opinion was really good I didn't have much but what I ended up getting was very tasty, I'm not really a pork eater but I figured if I'm at a Korean restaurant I might as well go traditional.. Two thumbs up. This spot is a must try, I'll deff be back!! Forgot to mention this Korean wine pretty good

Loved this place! As a vegetarian, it can be tough to find good Korean food, but this spot nailed it. The rice cakes were packed with flavor and spicy . Love their complimentary (side dishes) were all vegan-friendly and so tasty. Super fresh, well-seasoned, and plenty of variety. Friendly staff and great vibes too definitely a new favorite! My favorite was the spicy rice cakes and Vegan Chapchae noodles. Although the scallion pancakes were not that crispy it tasted okay.

This place is unprepossessing from the outside but it was a great choice for dinner. Fascinating collection of Korean drinks made up for the fairly pedestrian beer list...I enjoyed the crushed pear drink. My wife ordered the seafood pancake...it was HUGE...and the steamed dumplings, large and delicious. Nice collection of ban chan, willingly refilled. My meal was the spicy pork bulgogi, tender and delicious and served over steamed vegetables. Pity we don't live nearby try more of the menu

This place has been a Wethersfield staple for some time now. They serve solid non fusion unapologetic Korean food. And they do it well. Service is always quick and efficient. We always get the same thing. The gam ja tang has some mega flavor. Loaded with pork meat and bones it's a flavor bomb. Expect your hands to get dirty. I always get the kimchi tofu ja yuk, which is stir fried kimchi with tofu and pork. It's a bit spicy and maybe not so much for the western palate but it's my favorite. Jap chae is great here. Which will be a bit more geared to the western palate. I don't think you can really go wrong with any of the choices here. They have been at the location for close to 10 years now which says they are doing things right.

As always this place is impressive. I can't ever finish a plate of food but here I just can't help myself. I came by with another group of friends and they also felt like the food is the most authentic Korean food they've had. We all had a gorier of sides; beef and Pork bulgogi; seafood hot stone; beef hot stone; dumplings; tteokbokki and salads. We stayed till we closed. The best!!!

Sweet and sour Fried tofu (sauce on the side)

Delicious! Love that you could get ramen instead of rice for the soon tofu - which is perfect for my little guy who always wants ramen! Love that we are able to get a non- spicy soon tofu for the little ones but it's still full of flavour. Fried tofu was also really good! Everything was delicious and we can't wait to come back to try other items.

Tried the spicy seafood tofu soup and the sweet and sour pork. Food was ok. Should have more flavors in the sweet and sour pork. Service was ok. Atmosphere was just so so.

Amazing Korean Food!!!…read more I dropped by here because I had an errand to run around here and I'm sooo glad I did. Everything was so delicious. I got the: -Korean Wings: crispy, flavorful juicy wings. I would definitely order this again. -Black Bean Noodles: I've had this at so many restaurants but this one takes the number one spot. The noodles were cooked so perfectly and they didn't skimp on the vegetables/pork in the sauce. Every bite was so enjoyable. I could order 2 of these for myself!! -Beef Bibimbap: I like how they give you the sauce to pour on by yourself. The beef was very tender and flavorful. -Banchan (side dishes) were yummy! I'm pretty sure the kimchi was made in house, it tasted so fresh and not extra salty like the prepackaged ones. The fish cakes and spicy cucumber were my second favorites. Bathrooms here are very clean and the restaurant is spacious. Plenty of seating with grills and without grills Service was very good. Our waitress was so nice!! Definitely could come back again

Overall, the food was really good and exactly what I'd expect from a family-owned Korean restaurant--comforting, flavorful, and made with care. The soft tofu soup was satisfying, the garlic fried chicken wings were crispy, and the seafood pancake had a great taste and texture with a nice crispness throughout. My only minor critique is that I wish there had been a bit more seafood in the pancake, but it was still very delicious overall. One thing that really stood out was the hospitality. They brought out a complimentary steamed egg dish for my daughter, which was incredibly thoughtful and much appreciated. Small gestures like that really make a difference.
