It was still in "restaurant" mode, not "bar" mode and the family who runs it was having their dinner still. (They had an adorable toddler who wanted to be friends with us and our baby.) Not many vegetarian options - just a couple of salads. I attempted to order the swordfish (espadon) but sadly they did not have any. I ended up with the salmon, my husband had the red mullet (rouget), and my mom had the shrimp (gambas). The food was fine. I especially liked the seasonal veggies that came on the side - tomatoes and zucchini, almost like a ratatouille. My husband liked his fish and my mom liked the shrimp and salad she ordered. We also had a bottle of wine that was recommended by the waiter/owner(?) that was tasty. The terrace was large and accommodating. Since they had a small child, we felt very comfortable dining with our baby. They even had a highchair for us. The family was soooo friendly, even the toddler kept offering our baby one of his french fries though his mother tried to explain that she was too small to eat it. Their friendliness made the entire atmosphere relaxed and light - we even had a conversation with some guys at another table who turned out to live just down the street from us in Lyon. If I were ever back in La Grande Motte, I would come back to this place just because the staff was so awesome. The food was okay - nothing spectacular - but they family atmosphere made it worth it.

All the studios are really well soundproofed and it's convenient when you need a break in the hallway to enjoy a tea or coffee from the machine. People working at the reception are like a family and are very inclined to help, without any troubles. Prices for studio rentals are very cheap, than again I can only compare to New York City... in any case I look forward to see their music festival early June. 65 euros for a blind pass for 3 days of music is a pretty good deal in my mind. Paloma is easy to access as the highway is very close to it, and their parking sand buses allow you to park and travel to the city with ease.
