The nail technicians are sp incredibly patient and they do such a careful job paying attention to every detail as they do your nails, they want you leaving feeling pampered AND have a lasting, beautiful finished product! I'm pretty sure that in my past experiences at other salons other nail technicians have gotten impatient with me from how long I take to choose my nail color that by the time I'm in their chair they just want to get the process over and done with. I'd never heard or dip polish, I'd always seen it on menus but had no idea what it was. I'm a nail picker and usually when I go to get a manicure it's a reward for finally growing my nails out. I'd had regular and gel manicures and none of them had lasted longer than a few days (I work with my hands) so I'm usually hesitant to get a manicure in the first place. while i was doing my typical indecision dance the gentleman (i forget his name) told me to take my time, but did I know about dip color? I'm not am acrylic nail gal so I was hesitant at first, but when he explained that it was your natural nails i was intrigued. i decided to give it a whirl and im glad i did! I've never gotten so many compliments on my nails and he did such a beautiful job! And did i mention how ridiculously reasonably priced this salon is? You get wayyy more than you pay for. I can't wait till my next visit. This salon is clean, they have a nice selection of colors, and the staff is super friendly. They talk to you if you're in the mood for conversation and give you your space if you're not. Like I said, I'm almost scared to write a good review because I know anyone who goes is going to be Hooked and they might start getting too busy! If youre looking to treat yourself to a great nail salon experience, without mistreating yoyr wallet this is certainly the place to do it!

They were able to get me back right away, but the service was awful. The woman who removed my dip was so aggressive with my nails. After the fourth time of the drill hitting my cuticle, I said Ow and she said why ow? It doesn't hurt... see? And then proceeded to put the drill on a totally different part of her hand, not on thin cuticles. I told her that she was hurting me, and then she gave a half apology. It made me incredibly frustrated that she tried to tell me what does and doesn't hurt in MY BODY. After that, she did try to avoid the cuticle better. She got all the dip off, but left my nails jagged and uneven after her attempt at shaping. If she would have slowed down and taken 2 more minutes for the service, she could've done a much better job without hurting me. My cuticles are a wreck after coming here and I had to go home and fix my nails. On top of bad service, they charge $15 for dip removal while the other Serenity only charges $10.

It's hat season anyways. The hair cut looks wonderful when I do the curls but I want to wear my hair down and not have to use hot tools (did you know it damages it?) on my hair to make it look good.
