I always buy my Birthday or Occasion cards from here as they have such an unusual selection. They also stock a range of clothes, which are good value and different. You know that you wont have one of those nightmare moments when you walk into a room and somebody is wearing the same dress!! They only stock a few of each size which makes the clothes rare. You could spend hours in this shop, the lay out is a bit cramped and there is a real mish mash of stuff on offer so it takes a while to look at everything. But I never manage to come away empty handed, there is always something that I want and feel that I just cant live without. Highly recommended for one-off, original Gifts.

It has an interesting interior, apparently it still has a sprung floor, there are sweeping staircases and there's a balcony upstairs which allows the men and kids to watch the ladies shopping downstairs (as always men and kids get shoved upstairs!). The stock is pretty much all own brand stuff and is best described as cheap and cheerful. It's not brilliant but not awful and the prices are very competitive. It's great for kids stuff as they'll wreck their clothes in no time regardless of the quality. Not a bad place, worth a quick peek, especially when the sales are on.

Very well priced but not the best quality but its ideal if you just buying an outfit for a special occasion or night out which you'll probably not wear too often. I tend to do most of my Summer Holiday Shopping at Peacocks as they have a great selection of Swimwear, Shorts, T-shirts and Vests all at really cheap prices so you cant go wrong. Underwear is pretty good value too, again the quality is not as good as say M&S but they have some good cheap essentials. As Andy mentioned the Sales at Peacocks are really good, lots of things under £5, i've managed to pick up lots of wardrobe staples and work wear in the past. the only problem with the sales is that it tends to be Summer Sales in Winter and Winter Sales in Summer so you have to think ahead to the next season. They have also started to do Christmas Gifts which are ideal Stocking Fillers or fun presents. Well worth a visit - it's a bit hit and miss but i'm sure you'll find a bargain.

C'mon, guy! Of course it's touristy. That's the point. This will forever be "that place with the name" that is unpronouncable except for "gogogoch" on the end of it. The name? Llanfairpwllgwyngyll­gogery­chwyrn­drobwll­llan­tysilio­gogo­goch and yes I did just copy and paste it! Other than that, it is just a standard (but big) gift shop full of fun things with the long name on it, and some really nice craft things, such as the Slate house numbers and wooden love spoons. The staff were all as helpful and friendly as you'd expect from a place that deals mostly with mad foreign folk like me trampling through their work. The shop is laid out well and there's a good range of colourful indoor and outdoor clothes, backpacks, shoes and boots. Good quality too and the occasional bargain rack. This recently opened store is TK Maxx's first venture into North West Wales following their…read moredecision to abandon plans to build a new store in Llandudno. This branch has opened in (I think) the old Allied Carpets unit on one of the small retail parks off Caernarfon Road. It's not that bad a shop and is quite a bit bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. There are two floors, ladies downstairs with men, kids and homewear upstairs and there's plenty of stock to browse through. The problem I have with TK Maxx in general is that although they do offer generous discounts a lot of their stock is very expensive to start off with so even reduced to half price it's still out of my price range. If you're determined to buy designer and branded clothing, and you're not too bothered if you're wearing last seasons designs, it's definitely worth a look as you should save a few quid but I'll stick with George at Asda!

It stocks a decent range of Next merchandise including ladieswear, menswear, kids and homeware. Personally I find Next a little bit too expensive so I only tend to go there when the sales are on but if you like Next won't go too far wrong here as there's a good range of stock available. Given the choice though I'd much rather go to the Next Clearance store in the town centre which has much less choice but can be much cheaper if you go there at the right time. Being on the retail park this store is easy to get to and there's a car park which is free for up to two hours. Finding a space shouldn't be too much of a problem unless you go on a Saturday afternoon in December.
