When visiting dermatologists in the past, I would often spend more time with the nurse than the actual doctor. Dr. Edwards entered the room, sat and listened to my acne life story from beginning to end. Her genuine concern and determination to provide a lasting solution was so comforting. The initial regimen she subscribed didn't provide the results she was satisfied with, so on the next few visits she tweaked the regimen until she was satisfied with the results. But the visits weren't all about her satisfaction! Dr. Edwards informed me that she was quite the perfectionist and told me to slow her down or say pause if it seemed like she was seeking perfection beyond my comfort zone. As months went by, my face totally cleared up. I've suffered with acne off and on since I was 15 years old and my face has NEVER looked this good. I've had a clear face before, but there would always be bumps under the surface. My complexion is as close to flawless as I've ever experienced. In my first visit, I was almost in tears due to the severity of my acne. I would cry myself to sleep each night and didn't want to leave the house during the day. My most recent visit to Dr. Edwards left both of us hugging each other and feeling relieved at how much my life had changed as a result of her efforts to clear my skin. I will pay any amount of money to continue seeing Dr. Edwards.

Without fail, I leave appointments feeling dissatisfied with the interaction and/or outcome. I am no longer confident that her full-body skin checks are thorough. Most recently, I went to see her after experiencing horrific rashes all over my body. She very quickly hand waved it away as "contact dermatitis" and prescribed a large container of steroid cream. However, the rashes were showing up symmetrically on my body, which is indicative of something systemic. I have several autoimmune conditions, which was another big clue. I was miserable and the steroid cream was not helping. I went to get a second opinion, and the doctor immediately recognized that I had a rare form of Celiac disease that affects the skin. A biopsy confirmed. The other doctor correctly diagnosed a serious problem in a single visit, when Dr. Buckly could/did not, probably because she did not seem to give me much attention in her rush to get in and out of my appointment as quickly as possible. I do not recommend. There are better options if you value your health.

Not only is she super knowledgeable, and has all of the state of the art tools to properly diagnose conditions, she also worked so well with our little girl (must be because she's a mom too.) This wart has been super stubborn, but every time, Dr. Cannon has another suggestion. She consults with other doctors to hear their input. We think we finally have gotten the wart under control. Dr. Cannon has been so patient with us. She genuinely cares for her patients. I can not recommend her enough.
