He is not so quick to prescribe medication or adjust doses which I love because most doctors hand drugs out like candy these days. I hate taking medicine unless it is absolutely necessary. The office staff has always been professional and the office is beautiful and clean. There is plenty of parking right outside the building and it is in a convenient location right off Route 100. I waited anither 20 for the doctor: Clearly the office staff needs to be retrained and learn to be honest and empathetic. Had they been honest - I would have understood. Instead - they tried to cover up their mistake and it resulted in me sitting even longer.

He then bungled a urethrotomy, producing a hemorrhage so massive I had to be ambulanced to an emergency room in fear of dying from loss of blood. It took the ER staff 12 hours to syringe away the excruciatingly painful blood cots that jammed my bladder and urinary system. The pain didn't end there, as spasms continued to produce breathtaking shocks of pain in my groin. I was then admitted to a hospital for an additional 36 hours, all on a drip, for further treatment and observation. It was the most horrific experience of my life. Neither Davalos nor Chesapeake Urology produced either an apology or any explanation of what Davalos did to create this hazard to my life. It is kept a tightly held secret to this day. Avoid Davalos and Chesapeake Urology. And avoid risking your health.

Often times, im left waiting in the room for up to an hour after my appointment time was scheduled. I know wait times are expected, unfortunately, this happens at almost every appointment. Im sure there is a good reason (short staffed, lots of patients etc.) however, its unpleasant to have to wait for THAT long at almost every appt.
