If you have a carpet fitted by Francis, you will not end up with scratched paintwork of scuffed skirting boards. What you will get is a very professional job done, on time, to price and with a smile. Also, if you buy bedroom or lounge furniture in won't fall to pieces a week after you get it home, it will last a lifetime. The business is split into 3 parts, 235, 275 and 128 Worcester road. If you want good service, value for money and love independent companies, pay Francis a visit, I'm sure you will be glad that you did.

I always find that at a lot of 'recommended furniture shops' sell cheaper manufactured items. Obviously, they're sold at a better price range, but for something that'll last a long time, maybe it's worth coming to places like Hallowood to spend that little bit extra; Especially for something made from proper oak wood (such as the Waverly oak dining table with six chairs for £689) But the shop doesn't just sell furniture, it also sells wooden figures such as cute little owls, guitars and practical items like door stops. There's a great collection of paintings and artistic clocks too, just to make your home look a little more cultured; I really like the piano clock that's sold here because the keys bend around into a spiral! You don't have to worry about children being bored in here while you shop either, because there's hopscotch spaces drawn onto the shop floor, as well as snakes and ladders. So adults can do the tedious shopping, while the kids play!
