I stopped in today on a whim. I needed a wedding dress but wasnt expecting to buy here because of other reviews. I had an amazing experience. Within about 3 minutes or less dresses were being pulled for me. The first few were gorgeous but to small. Finally I tried on a dress that took my breath away and it is in my closet awaiting our big day. Everyone was so helpful, including the owner. Anonymously Yours was recommended to me by a friend who knew I was looking for a beautiful, reasonably priced wedding dress. After visiting many boutiques and not finding a dress that I was in love with, I am so happy I went here. Beautiful dresses. Wonderful prices. Excellent service. I spent hours in this store trying on so many different dresses and Tami helped and encouraged me the entire time. She was so knowledgeable and knew exactly how to accessorize each dress. I was also thankful that she never rushed me and she seemed just as invested in finding the perfect dress for me as I was! I would recommend this place to anyone - whether you are on a budget or not. My best friend and I came to AY w/ low expectations but I left with dress in hand :-)! It doesn't look like much when you step inside, however once you start to dig in they have an AMAZING selection of designer dresses with ridiculously discounted prices. I ended up purchasing a beautiful ball gown for $450 that retails for $3K! I strongly recommend to go during the weekday or early Saturday before it gets too busy. The bridal area is tight (because there's so much merchandise) and you really have to take time searching through everything. I also don't advise coming here with more than 2 people, there won't be any room to sit. The ladies are very personable and fun, they gave me some awesome ideas for alterations. In summary: Pros: Amazing Dresses and prices, fun staff, nice veil and appliqué selection. Cons: no men in back, cluttered, no privacy Totally worth it though! This is a real gem. The first time I went with my daughter to look at the wedding gowns and we found "the one" she wanted. What good fortune! We had searched at some bridal salons and David's bridal where we found nice dresses, just not "the one". The staff is so very friendly, helpful, that I decided to go back on another occasion and again experienced the same thing. They not only have wedding attire, they have prom dresses, mother of the bride clothes, and some nice business separates too. The store is really small and is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. TOTAL NIGHTMARE!!! The employee of this establishment behaved in a questionable manner by trying to force her way into my dressing room My husband and I visited this shop on May 17, 2014 at approx 2:00 in the afternoon. After choosing a dress to try on a female employee (possibly the owner) approached us and informed us that my husband must wait for me at the front of the store and could not look through the dresses with me. Although we both thought this was odd he went to the front door after I assured him I would be quick and just try on the one dress. I went into the dressing room (the locks do not work on the dressing room doors) when the same lady came to the door and asked if I needed help. I told her no and she replied that she needed to help me with the dress as she began to open the dressing room door. I shut it and told her no again that I can manage it myself. She then began to tell me that it is store policy for her to come in and put the dress on me. At that same time she began to open the door a second time. I again closed the door and held it shut. I told her if she was worried I would get makeup on it I wouldn't since I wasn't wearing any. She again began to tell me it was store policy for her to come in there. At that point I told her she didn't have a right to see me naked and she said she did since it was store policy for her to help me put the dress on. I was all the while holding the door shut while she was trying to open it. Rather than stay there and argue over her right to see me nude I gathered my belongings, said a few choice words about her making me feel violated and exited the store. read more

RIP OFF!!!! I will leave a bad review anywhere I can. I'm all about customer service but this lady is trash. I left items to be sold and I never received a check. My first dress sold quickly and the check was sent in 3weeks. My next item I never received a check. I had one wedding dress and one pair of shoes . She looked me up in the system and her response was " it's been over 90 days idk what happened to your stuff it was probably donated .... (Laughing ) people leave stuff and forget about it ).... Even if it's been awhile and you sent a check you should be able to tell me that. Checks expire but you can reissue. How could she not tell me that information ? You're in the consignment business - computers are smart but you can't tell me anything . If you sent a check out you should be able to tell someone what happened. It's probably one of her tactics- keep your things for 90days. Wait to see if you stop by to check on it .After that even if she sold it she won't send out check because it's out of the 90 days and you haven't checked on it. I wonder how many people this owner has screwed over . So upset and hurt that she could be so heartless and nonchalant. I left $200 in merchandise and received $0. She had no remorse. Straight robbery. I don't care if she's been in business 30years. She's a crook !!!! read more

I got a tip from a friend that this was a great place to land a bridal gown for a steal. I dropped in just to get a feel for the place and found something I liked, but decided to go back when I had more time to browse. I should also mention that my mom and MOH both live out of state. I shopped alone and they couldn't have been more sweet and helpful. I think the dress I bought was the fourth one I tried on. It was definitely "the one," and I was out the door for less than $400 including tax. It was the dress of my dreams for very little fuss! This place is like a Plato's Closet but with a bridal gown section. The dress selection was ok because most of the styles were satin dresses and not what I was looking for. I'd say check this place out if you are on a tight budget. Not worth the stop if you are looking for a lace dress. This place was great. They had a great selection of clothing. I bought my dress for my mother of the bride. For those of you who say the staff was terrible. I could not disagree more. They were incredibly friendly, gave honest opinions and were more than considerate to my mother who is 86. I overheard the manager on the phone saying that the clothing had to be cleaned before it came to the shop, which made me even more comfortable about my purchase. I can't tell you how much I am so thankful for this place. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They do have a selection of consignment dresses. I however purchased mine that wasn't. I tried on about 8 or 9 dresses and just when I was about to leave the store, I decided to go back into my size section and take one more look. I pulled out about 3 dresses. I tried one on and it was "THE ONE" and a very good price. On top of that, they provide an additional discount if you pay in full on the day of your purchase. So the dress that I had been looking for was found!!! It is a smaller shop so the dressing rooms are a bit smaller and you may have to wait your turn to see yourself in the full length mirrors. They have a great policy of not letting men come to the back area where the girls can look at themselves in the mirrors especially if they have more than one customer-unless you're the only customer. Like the previous reviewer, Jessica R. Miss Renee definitely does not try to push you into buying any of the dresses. As a result, I felt so much more relaxed and the experience was really great! My mother and I came into this place after leaving Alfred Angelo's bridal store, which put me in a horrible mood due to the overbooking of appointments, large crowd and single line of mirrors where you couldn't even see your back side and train of the dresses. Anyway, when we walked in, I was very doubtful. However, Janice or Joyce(sorry I forgot) was so helpful! then Alex jumped in to help too. They were so very personable and they made me feel so special, like I was the only bride in the world! They have a good selection, and even have mirrors set up where you can see yourself in the entire 360 view. I loved it! I put a dress, shaw, and garment bag on layaway all for $344! I created a Yelp account just for this review. I was so appalled by the treatment I honestly think that it will RUIN your dress buying experience. While the dresses are nice....the Owner Rene is flat out rude. Not only is she rude but in general her "rules" are simply not accommodating. The FIRST thing said to me when I came in (after I stood at the front counter for 10 minutes) was: "You can only try on three at a time" and then she walked away. You CAN NOT: Take pictures - which in an of it's self is not a problem until you find out it even after you put the NON REFUNDABLE deposit down on the dress and not even when you BUY it out right. Even when your parents are out of town and can't be there to help you choose. Have your cell phone out with you AT ALL. If you were thinking of calling/texting your mom when you've found the dress - think again. You are not allowed to have your phone in the dressing area at all. If you try to she will threaten to call the police on you. Try on the dress in layaway: Remember that you couldn't take pics or call mom? So if she wasn't fortunate enough to be there with you and you put your dress on layaway (by putting down 35% which is NONREFUNDABLE) she can't see you put it on until you've paid for it and even then you have to take it OUT OF THE STORE to take pics....that's right. Even after you've purchased it. People with this type of lack of customer service do NOT deserve your money. I plan on putting this review in as many places as I can so that no one has to question what kind of experience they will have. Just AWFUL. read more

Had a wonderful experience looking for a mother of the bride dress. I can't believe how many I had to choose from and many were unique, not typical dowdy "mother" dresses. I was fortunate to be able to go during the week when it's not crowded. The personal attention I received made me feel as if I was in a boutique shop with a personalized shopping attendant. One even has attended seminars on different body shapes and what style will compliment their body shape. Even another shopper helped me settle on a dress! It was a great experience. If you are limited to going on Saturday, you can still receive the same personalized service, but you need to be patient because there are limited dressing rooms, but you won't be able to beat the prices. They have oodles of bridal gowns--and even some career wear. I left not only with a great dress my daughter loved but the jewelry to wear with it, as well. read more

Just started shopping for wedding dress and my sis suggested checking it out. I am 5'3 with a chest size a third of the way down the alphabet and its impossible finding bathing suits and dresses that fit off the rack. I was apprehensive that I could find anything that would fit with sleeves as well, and started to break down, when Morgan came along to wait on us and was empathetic and patient. She selected 3 beautiful dresses based on my likes and the 3rd one my sister said gave her chills that it was the one. I left not buying just yet. I will forever appreciate Morgan's heart to encourage me and help me out of my despair. As one Yelper mentioned, store is crowded with dresses and no seating, not good idea to take an entourage with you as such, and they do help you in/out of dresses which I thought was wonderful and glad no one could take photos and accidentally get a shot of another in a state of undress. Well I am giving this place not such a good review for being so rude. I walked in and the First Lady that greeted me was younger and she asked if I needed help. I told her I was just looking for dresses to buy for a Bridal shoot I'm putting together. So she gave me a layout of the store and everything was good. Well I find a dress that I want to take a pic to send to my business partner to see if we should get it and and older lady who works in the store comes and snatches the dress from me and says I can't have u taking pics. Well I explained why I needed a pic because my business partner can't be here with me and she says I don't know what you all are going to do with the pics. Well I actually bought my wedding dress here. I consigned my previous wedding dress and headband which did not sell. After 4 months, I went to pick up my wedding dress and headband. The owner tried to give me someone else's dress and then argued with me that the one in the bag was mine. After I convinced her mine was strapless, she went and got mine. First, the shop has a wonderful selection of consigned gowns and discontinued samples available for sale at a fraction of retail- starting at just $99. Most gowns I tried on seemed to be in the $400-500 range (this just depends on the brand). Renee and her sweet niece took amazing care of me, and gave me the personal attention and service I would expect from a high end boutique. They really know their stuff, and are able to make recommendations on styles and brands that will best suit your shape. Renee selected some gowns for me to try on that I never would have considered on my own, and they ended up being gorgeous options that flattered my figure better than the dresses I selected. I ended up being incredibly indecisive throughout this process, and Renee did everything in her power to make sure I was happy with my decision. Best of all, I ended up taking home a gorgeous dress, veil, headpiece, and earrings for just over $600. I think it is the type of place you take with a grain of salt. I wouldn't give it an A+ all around but I ended up with a dress that I LOVE for $240!! When first arriving I was a little skeptical. The red neons lights and window displays make it look very...cheesy..low quality..outdated. It turned out to have TONS of dresses to choose from and all different price ranges. I tried on $99 dresses and $3,000 dresses. I am a little unsure about the staff. They seemed nice enough. I wasn't sure if these $150 dresses really were designer dresses marked down from $6,000 or not. I didn't feel completely trusting of them except for the dark haired girl(I can't remember her name!). I felt that she was very honest and genuine and wasn't afraid to tell me if she didn't know the answer to a question rather than make something up. All in all, I put on a dress I loved and was POSITIVE it was going to be at least $1,500 and was very pleasantly surprised to see $239 on the price tag. This place is really cool! I didn't end up getting a dress here but there were at least a couple dresses I tried that were real options for about half of what I would have paid at a new bridal shop and there were probably 10-15 plus sized dresses but I didn't see anything going up past a size 24. One of the dresses I tried hadn't even actually been worn, it was from a bridal shop that went out of business (or at least that's what she told me.) There was a small stain on the bodice (not really a stain, but it was a little gray like something had rubbed against it or something) so was willing to reduce the price a little more, which was very nice. They don't hold dresses so you either have to buy it or cross your fingers that it'll be there when you come back. Also, despite the cramped dressing room, the ladies have it down to a science how to get you into/out of your dress without you feeling too exposed, it's really impressive! If you are looking for a good deal on a dress, I would certainly check this place out! read more

This place was great. Go early! I had it to myself for the first hour it opened. Miss Joyce was sweet patient and very helpful. I liked the dresses here better than 3 other places I visited and they were much less expensive than other locations I visited including Davids and Alfred Angelo. I bought my dress here after being told by several friends that it was great. I bought the first one of 3 that I tried on. It was a Watters antique ivory lace dress and NOT strapless. I came upon it and couldn't believe it. What a great buy. It will definitely need alterations, but I paid less than half of retail for a brand new dress and the people were amazing getting me in and out of dresses and with the purchase. I told them what style I was looking for and my price range and they were very accommodating. The owner was very helpful in giving helpful tips to make very slight changes to the dress, if there was something I didn't like about. The dress I purchased was a never worn before, sample dress. Normally I don't write reviews, but I just had to about this place. I sold bridesmaid dress there this past winter. The selection of dresses is nice, and they have a lot of other things too. The place in itself can be a gold mine. That being said, the management and workers are far from exceptional. When you first come in to browse, or look for a dress, they seem kind and helpful. But once you become a customer, or let them sell your items, that helpful demeanor goes out the door. They become rude and irritable, as if you are bothering them with your questions. The employees not so much as the manager/owner. She was a real jerk. I didn't get my money on time, and every time I came in to ask a question, they acted like they could be doing something better with their time. Once you put something on consignment kiss that polite attitude goodbye. They are only interested in the money you can make them. Besides that, if you're not buying they'd rather have you out as soon as possible. read more

I found my dress, veil, and jewelry. For the cost of what I had budgeted for just my dress. I found a dress for 1/2 of my dress budget. Renee was extremely helpful!! She picked out things that I would not have chosen but worked very well. She knows her stuff and she was not pushy at all. She got me in and out of dresses very quickly. I wish I had gone here first on my search for a dress. I was there on a weekday so it was not crazy busy like it is on the weekend. One thing to know is that they have a rule about no pictures of the dresses. The owner had a lawsuit about pictures about of a dress so if you need pictures this may not be the place for you. But I loved the selection. Also as a plus sized ( size 20) bride she had a large selection of dresses that I could actually try on and buy. They have a large selection of Watters dresses. I looked online for places in the dallas area that do consignment for wedding dresses and came across anonymously yours. From what I understand this is the only place in the metroplex that does this, which is crazy to me. Might be an opportunity for a business adventure. We communicated by email in which was slow responses and slow to let me know if I could bring the dress in. I drove an hour to get there and then was told she cannot take it because it had been preserved. I had the receipt showing it had only been cleaned but she was very rude in telling me she didn't believe what the receipt said. Just walked off, not even trying to help me get the dress repackaged or anything. My personal opinion was she was already overstocked and didn't need any more dresses. Would have been nice to not waste my time and gas if this was the case. My opinion is if you treat your customers the way I was treated I wouldn't want to deal with her anyway. Maybe a blessing in disguise she wouldn't take it. read more
