Great place for breakfast with a beautiful outdoor sitting area. Pet friendly which is very important when traveling with your pet. Excellent service from the minute you step in you feel welcomed. The food was fine. The server was nice. However, our indirect experience made me commit to never coming to this location again. I'm not sure of the context of the older gentleman's issue, but the behavior witnessed by the manager was disheartening. He split our check in half due to us overhearing and witnessing this situation which was nice, but from other reviews there may be a trend with this manager's behavior and unprofessionalism. Something was in this guys coffee cup and he complained about it. Manager came out and didn't introduce himself, but immediately starts the conversation with, "before you go posting all over social media..." He then tells this gentleman mistakes happen and it's not a big deal. The manager was very dismissive and rude to this man. They obviously decided to not serve him but instead of communicating this and asking the man to leave he just comes out and loudly repeats, "have a good day." The patron was saying he doesn't know why he is the asshole when he is only concerned about the cleanliness of the restaurant and what the dirty coffee cup implies or alludes to. I told the man he wasn't an asshole and that I'm sorry that experience happen to him. The manager treated him extremely poorly, so much so that he reduced our bill. As we are waiting for our check a police officer pulls up. The manager called the cops on this guy! Not once did the manager apologize or treat the guy with any respect. This is still a customer service industry and to act that way to a customer in front of other customers and to do so loudly and in a demeaning manner is unacceptable. read more

Management has changed but the servers and kitchen are running smoothly. This menu is still spot on and gives you a twist on the breakfast traditions. On this day, this place was jammed pack, primarily because it was pouring rain outside so limited covered seating on the patio pushed everyone inside. The regular coffee is strong and delicious and even though the menu offers a stronger and more expensive Kenya coffee, I find that their house coffee is perfect to get the blood moving. The cinnamon rolls are just what you want for the sweet tooth. Served warm, get ready to dig into a pastry treat. Okay, if you need protein, there are plenty of those options, but expect a different type of variations. Went with a crab omelette with garlic butter sauce, and another omelette with sausage, mushroom and bacon. Their potatoes were just so-so. They were very friendly. This establishment / in our current location - Lakewood ranch-USED to be pretty good a few years ago. {The original one ? in Clearwater fla was much better when we visited there 3x's in 2021} **Unfortunately, There seems to be an established staff theme that goes like this every single time : A you you have the same waitress for your whole visit which is supposed to be good right?! : waitress takes your order, drops off drinks, and then doesn't return at all (to top off coffee etc) until your food comes out . . Then never return to your table at all again to see if you need anything , or to check on your food order once it is delivered. ~We 2 have been back 3 times this year *ONLY because our out of town son purchased us a $100 gift certificate in 2022- (via online ) - So we had no choice but to return. We visited / used the coupon 1/2023, 3/2023 and today 11/2023 The food is mediocre at best, The grits were bland, gritty, and had literally a 1/2" of water on the top that wouldn't stir in no matter how much stirring lol!! The cleanliness of the operation is fair to poor.. and declining each time. The menu (is sort of a franchise mind you) appears pleasing. Fruit seemed fresh most times . As you know the key to any good experience is the food and the service. On both counts, this breakfast spot was exceptional. Our server was Channing, a young lady that seems to be well trained and gets the order correctly the first time. The Blackstone Eggs Benedict is the primary star in my book. I loved the way it is made with just enough bacon and sauce. Outstanding. The cinnamon roll half order is perfect for that sweet tooth. Warm and delicious with plenty of icing to share with the hot coffee. There are several options, but I keep going for the Benedict. This is a nice location with indoor and outdoor covered seating. Waited outside for 20 minutes, checked back with hostess and informed, 15 more minutes "or so." No drinks offered. Called First Watch a half mile away, informed short wait. As the hostess watched us get up to leave were she came outside and said: we can seat you now (literally two minutes after curtly informing us there would be a 15 or so more minute wait.) Arrived to a pleasant hostess holding door smiling and saying good morning. Entered and another employee says good morning friends. Immediately taken to table. The food here is pretty good and I love how they have a revolving seasonal menu. Make sure you put in a reservation though because they do get extremely busy and it could be up to a 2 hour wait sometimes. The servers are pretty good and do their best to keep up on a busy day. I appreciate watching them work hard to accommodate their customers. I like the outdoor seating but those spots go quick. Indoors it can be a bit noisy but perfect for brunch! read more

I've been to this place many times and this visit made me never want to come back! So my friend and I sat down to eat and we both ordered the same thing. I ate my city grits which are my favorite thing they have, After eating them my friend put hers on a plate and OMG there was a freaking black hair in it, to which now after witnessing that I felt instantly nauseous and literally felt that way for the rest of the day bc I just sat n ate the whole thing . Manager comes over and completely ignores me and takes her grits off the bill. I'm sorry but that was totally unacceptable. I literally threw up when I got home.
