Had a lovely brunch date with my husband this morning, this place is amazing! Friendly and very attentive staff and service, food was absolutely delicious, ambiance is very wholesome. Our waiter was Josh, he was so kind and friendly. Clean establishment and clean bathrooms. Will definitely come back again and would highly recommend to friends and family.

I visited Another Broken Egg Cafe in Williamsburg for breakfast. I had a delicious vegetable omelette with a fresh fruit cup side, rye toast, and a cup of coffee. Everything was delicious. Yes, you might say it was a little on the price high side but I left the Cafe feeling I had a great healthy breakfast. I am noticing more and more upscale breakfast eateries. Another Broken Egg Cafe is a good example of an upscale eatery. Certainly not Denny's. No knock on Denny's. Just a different experience. The waitress was pleasant. Isn't nice to walk in and sit down and have a smiling, pleasant waitress make you feel good? Well, that's how I felt. Quick service. Coffee refills were plentiful. Parking is adequate. Cash or credit. $$$.

Another Broken Egg in Williamsburg. The food was really good. Sometimes I wonder why I eat out for breakfast because it's so darn expensive. Nearly every breakfast/brunch place is pricy for the type of food. But that doesn't stop us when you are out of town. Unless you have a full kitchen to make breakfast, you're at the mercy of the establishments you in which you eat. Taking nothing away from ABE! Our waitress was attentive and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. See the pics included for the meals we got. Two of our party got the three stack pancakes. No pics. I give ABE credit, they have some unique dishes to partake.

Overall a great breakfast spot! There is plenty of parking, and service is great. We were seated right away, and our server was great to get a booster chair for my little one before I even asked for one. There are kids activities that they provide (crayons and coloring paper), which is a bonus! We ordered the crab cake benedict, shrimp and grits, french toast, and pancakes and eggs from the kids menu. The crab cake benedict and french toast was very good. The shrimp and grits were okay, nothing overly exceptional. Too much grits in my opinion. My kids loved the french toast and eggs. Price is overall reasonable. Would definitely revisit if we were back in Williamsburg!

Another year and another visit. Still great service and good food in a large restaurant with lots of seating.

There was no taste on the potatoes, bacon was hard and tasteless. The bread was too soft for me. The service was excellent. Loved the decor of the restaurant. The coffee was good. I was disappointed with the food

This is probably one of my favorite breakfast spots in VA - Williamsburg. The service is tremendous and our waitress was exceptionally attentive to details and always around when my group of friends needed something. The restaurant sits right by a busy intersection on the road leading to the Colonial Market square and the Outlet, but it is clean and easy to find. I had the biscuits and gravy with a side of the City grits (loaded grits) and it was perfectly prepared. Every bite was delicious and satisfying. The portion was generous and filling. I couldn't be happier with my order and the consensus was the same from my group of friends who also dined with me. I look forward to coming be the next time I am in town!

Love our server Noel! Very friendly! The food was a hit! Everything pictured below hit the spot in its own way. From the cheesy shrimp n grits to the yummy pancakes topped off with a delicious caramel cold brew from the bar, you can't go wrong. Loved the seating felt very cozy and had plenty of space. Quick and attentive service, will definitely come again when in Williamsburg

Conveniently located at Bypass and Richmond roads, this was a great little breakfast find. Mario was our server and he was amazing! Great personality, very friendly and showed up at just the right time for refills. The food food portions were huge. I had the power bowl, mom had the smoked salmon benedict, and my hubby had the mardi gras omelette. The grits were thick and creamy, the omelette was stuffed full of shrimp and crawfish, and the smoked salmon was perfect and served with all of the accompaniments. We were seated right away and food was out in less than 10 minutes after ordering. The tables could be bussed a little better. The restrooms were very nicely maintained. Will definitely try this spot again!

Stopped here for breakfast while on a short trip to Williamsburg. This place is great! We were greeted with a smiling face and seated immediately. For breakfast I ordered the egg white omelet with goat cheese and asparagus and with it an English muffin and fruit. The waitress was good. Only item of note was that she originally delivered potato's as my side when I ordered fruit but she was quick to fix it. Would stop here again!

It was a local advise. We went and ate. At first,I was impressed with the coffee cup but when I look closely, it looks like it was not washed for the 2 cups. No coffee refill either from our server. The food was plenty and tasty, we tried their iconic menu choices. They were okay but I don't think I'm coming back.

We had brunch at Another Broken Egg on a Saturday at 9am. We were able to get seated quickly. The atmosphere is comparable to most franchise restaurants. For our food, I had the veggie omelet, and my partner had the apple fritter French toast. We shared the biscuit beignets. All of our food was hot, and prepared as ordered. I also had a blueberry lemon mimosa which was very good. Overall we really enjoyed the food. There were some smaller inconveniences like being brought a dish of butter when we asked for cream for the coffee, and having to ask multiple times for a straw. Overall, not a bad experience.

This restaurant was very delightful. I searched for a highly rated restaurant and this one popped up. So we ventured out to find it. The location was very easy to find and the dining room was very clean and up to date. The menu options were plentiful and ranged from basic to dishes for only the discriminating tastebuds. The menu lacked vegan options so I had to "create" a meal by adding and subtracting to an item already on the menu. My dining companion had the Mardi Gras omelette which looked yummy and they enjoyed it very much. The service was good.Bloody Mary . It didn't say it came with bacon on the menu so I had to send it back because of it. But they remade it quickly. A little spicy but not too overwhelming. I would certainly give them another try. Advice: But, please add some vegan items to the menu. It would be really easy to do just a little care to make it happen is all you need!

Cookie Dough Waffle is to die for. If you want a sweet treat for breakfast I recommend this.

We have not not dined, or even spent much time at CW since the pandemic. After a hike behind Bassett Hall my wife and I enjoyed lunch. We arrived at noon and were promptly seated in an empty room. Around 20 minutes later the first floor was full. The atmosphere was cool and authentic. Nothing has changed since my previous visit. Our friendly waitress got menus and waters. I started off with an Apple Jack Old Fashioned utilizing Virginia Gentleman bourbon. We reviewed items on the menu that may have been served in the period. We started with apps. I got a salad, or "To Make a Fine Sallet". My wife crab croquettes. They pushed out first and we enjoyed. For mains. I got the pork shank, or "To Stew a Shoat in the French Way". My wife had "Chicken Hash", it was like a thick soup. The plating was beautiful and the taste matched. The old fashioned was disappointing because it was so weak. Service was decent, but not much attention. For dessert I got the bread pudding and wife chocolate tart. Both were outstanding! The bill was dropped on the table. It was around $150 w/ tip. Although pricey we had fun and felt like tourist just an hour from home. I would recommend.

There tends to be a line to get in if you don't have a reservation, but we were seated soon after we got in line around 1:45pm. Their menu is sourced from recipes from the colonial era and the staff are all dressed in the latest colonial fashion. I ordered the fish sandwich which I thought was too salty (perhaps this is period accurate) but my family really liked it. I liked the chips it was served with! I also tried the peanut soup which tasted like drinking peanut butter and I'm not sure if that's for me, but my brother loved it. I had a bit of the beef hash which was pretty tasty! I also had the chocolate tart which was very chocolatey. For a drink we had the non alcoholic orange ginger peach bowl, which served our family of 5 just fine for $16. There was entertainment during our meal, a woman came around and sang a colonial song before taking out a recorder and playing a dancing song. This was fun! Our waitress rubbed us the wrong way. She repeated our order several times to us because she was not writing it down. I was not confident we would get the right food. When we tried to add other things she made us wait since she was busy committing everything to memory. She seemed annoyed when we put in other orders for food, but she did bring us an extra peanut soup "in case" we wanted another one, since we had put in an order for a soup after we initially ordered. She did not really seem keen on serving us. The service was slow, too. At the end of the meal, she put something of ours on another table's check, then took our check back to add what she missed. There was also a bowl of soup on our check that we did not order and the card was charged twice, plus another $18 charge. Not sure what ye olde POS system they're using back there...

We weren't sure where the restaurant was located within the building so we stopped to ask where the Terrace a room was at a hostess stand where three women were working. They all stared at us like we had dropped from the sky and then one woman gestured down the hall. Except it wasn't down the hall. We were in fact at the Terrace Room hostess stand. Sort of an odd beginning. We were seated at a two top with one chair and a couch with huge pillows scattered all over that left no room to actually sit. Had to toss them to the center of the couch to squeeze in. The menus are giant in size so it's hard to lay them down on the small table. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We started off with a bourbon cocktail that included some candied ginger and was very refreshing. The server gave us each a small cube of bread and some butter. It was sort of comical how miserly they were with the bread. The menu offerings were sort of odd but we were able to watch what other tables ordered to make our selections. The entree prices are pretty hefty. We each got a Caesar Salad to start that was good. We both settled on the brisket sandwich (a July Fourth special) and one of us got the fries and the other a side of summer veggies that was squash & zucchini. The sandwich was okay but nothing grand for $21 and the veggie side caused us to both explode with laughter at how meager it was. C'mon folks, squash is dirt cheap so load it up. Absolutely ridiculous. Their wine selections were not super familiar to us and pricey but they give you an ample pour. The Inn itself is very beautiful and the night stars shimmering on the reflecting pool out front is very romantic. I'd recommend a drink at the bar and skipping the $200 dinner for two.
