We have used our barter for everything from office supplies, chairs, used goods, signage, small gift items, and last but not least, emergency vet services the first year my business was open. That's right, when I was at my most vulnerable financially, my cat decided to become mortally ill. A vet saved him, and 3 years later he is great! All due to the vet being able to take the majority on BBU barter! Last but not least, the staff.. They go OUT OF THIER WAY to make sure you don't need anything. They call. Email. Just checking in. If you need anything, just call and they will find it if they can. Now, you would think regular (monthly or so..) calls would get annoying. Not when the call is from a local, professional, and friendly person who we have actually met before. They are in Bristol. No call centers here! Barter has some flaws, but it is a no brainer if you are in the service industry, where your time is your main overhead expense. You meet some cool people, and the other barter businesses are typically local small outfits like yourself. Oh, and out of the 2 major barter companies locally, BBU is the superior choice!!
