I had the Garlic Mushrooms which were delicious. For £3.80 you get a huge plateful as well as a basket of bread. I could have easily eaten this for my main course. There are a great choice of mains and I chose the Mixed Souvlaki (Lamb and Pork). Two large kebabs on a bed of Rice served with Pitta bread. There was a bit of a mix up when the main dishes were served up and someone else got my meal. The staff couldn't have been more apologetic. I was prepared to wait as the Mushroom dish had been huge and I wasn't going to starve. The staff kept coming to apologise and I was even given a complimentary beer while I waited. We also had the Greek salad which was delicious. I loved the feta cheese and Olives. The entertainment on offer is second to none. Unfortunately no plate smashing but some fabulous Greek dancing and Belly dancing from the female waitress. The atmosphere is authentic and the music really puts you in mind of being in Greece. We arrived at eight, it took the staff ten minutes to offer us a drink, we ordered food and within ten minutes our food was on the table. Microwaved. Frozen veg - not fresh, too much 'chicken tonight' sauce. a slow cooked lamb which had no flavour. it was terrible. everything tasted like the previous days' leftovers. We complained to the staff who didn't even have the decency to apologise, offering us no compensation; a free drink, 10% off our bill - nothing. We had eaten and drunk our drinks within thirty minutes. TERRIBLE - there was NOTHING good about this restaurant, except that it had a door to leave through. Maybe it has changed hands?

The announced the soup of the day as a spicy parsnip which I took, and selected a wild mushroom risotto. True wild mushrooms and tons of them to boot. I took the cheese option for dessert which was a good choice of Brie, blue and white (maybe Stilton and cheddar) and a glass of Shiraz. It was all very nice. Ambience wise I'd give it a 2 as it was pretty basic.
