This is a great church for people who don't like the stereotypical "church". Crosspoint has great…read moremusic, sermons that don't suck or drag on forever without a point, and genuinely nice people who attend. Added benefit is they've got Saturday evening services for those who'd rather be out boating/fishing/golfing/whatever on a Sunday morning! I've been attending for several years now, having never attended any church that I wasn't forced to attend by family obligations. This is the kind of place that lifts you up, and doesn't put you down -- the kind of church that you wish you had found years ago. Come in shorts and a t-shirt and flip-flops on your way to the beach, or come in a tuxedo... they don't care, they will just be glad to see you there!

Pastor is too caught up with social media and watching news online. We all know what force controls what he's too influenced by...and it shows. I want a real man or woman who is conservative teaching me the bible. This church seems fine for those who have been programmed by MSM, but why do you want that?

Nice church, easy parking, only about 1 mile off 75/Daniels, good size congregation and pretty full house with all age ranges including younger families, great positioning of screens to sing/see scriptures, comfy chairs, coffee shop in lobby. The music was fine. Congregation was pretty mellow and not very interactive, but that was fine too. Loved that the pastor was going through scriptures. However, the theme of the message, was a deal breaker for us. The pastor started by talking about how we might not agree with culture that's happening around us & how some people have chosen to boycott certain businesses. Yes - a pastor who isn't afraid to speak Biblical truth! But then his message quickly became if you boycott a business where does it end? If you're not willing to boycott everything you disagree with and become full Amish, are you really doing anything? He referenced that cell phones are bad for kids and those tech companies are bad, but if we're not tossing all our cell phones, why would we stop shopping at Target. He told us to focus on our own families and just teaching the Bible to others and that God will handle everything. He referenced "What would Josiah do" multiple times, essentially saying that we're not the king so we don't have powers like those in charge so we should focus on ourselves/our families. He didn't specifically say NOT to boycott some of the businesses promoting sins, and I got the impression he may personally do it, but to preach such weakness and apathy from the pulpit was so disappointing! This is an opportunity for those who disagree to use their money to speak to woke corporations that promote anti-Biblical messaging. No - it may not change it, but at least we can try. There's been a pretty big message sent so far to AB and Target. When we work collectively, we can have an impact and hopefully send a message to other companies looking to follow suit. He essentially told the congregation that it's not worth it to get worked up about what's happening around us and just go back to our lives and try to do the best we can. To have evil promoted to us and turn a blind eye is wrong. I guess I'm thankful we went to today's service as we may have otherwise thought we'd found a new church home. If you're looking for a middle of the road, don't rock the boat type of messaging, this may be a good fit for you. However, if you expect your pastor and church to stand tall and firm in the face of evil and speak out vocally against, it, you may need to keep looking as we will.

The church was welcoming to our young family. We found the members of the church seem to be very deep and genuine in their faith and their actions support that. We seemed to keep hearing the statement, this church just wants to love on people, love on our community and in a loving matter share God's truths. Finally, Truth! You mean, I am not going to have a rosie, perfect life after becoming a Christian...You mean, people who are sinful actually have faults in the church...WOW, there isn't a whole lot of churches out there that are willing to be that transparent and true (and yet that is exactly what the bible ask of us) 1 Peter 5:5 Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." We fit right in... :) If you are looking to grow deeper in your walk with God, grow in knowledge of the bible and gain closeness with the one true God; you will find going to New Hope Presbyterian a blessing on your path.
