I tried to find out if someone came to our house for an estimate. So far I have not heard from them and tried to call the office. Please contact us like last week to offer the estimate. We are not trying to be critical but addressing an issue. By going in person to the business, we were able to be put on a list. I appreciate that the roofing company didn't insist on a whole new roof like all the other contractors. Our roof just got repaired this week. So far it looks good. Hopefully no more hurricane to test it. read more

Contracted for gutters to be installed Dan the owner a pleasant person I was told he would call the day before That was 3wks ago.Today i was told the gutter person was on vacation. I was then put on hold, only then to be told they were 8 wks out. After canceling i came to the conclusion they were more of a roofing co. Wish them well!!! read more

I contacted this company because they did the re-roof when I bought my home. After Hurricane Ian I had damage. I called to get a quote as I wanted them to do the re-roof. Never came out and Dan only quoted by looking at a satellite photo AND of course he missed me having a skylight. I have two buildings, his quote was $10,0000.00 over priced for nly the house ! Then when I made them aware Dan missed the skylight he sent another quote adding $1000.00 for the skylight ... making the quote a full $11,000.00 higher than all the others for others doing BOTH buildings while Anthony Leonard only quoted for the house. That's right I got BOTH done for $11,000.00 LESS ! It is dispicable what Anthony Leonard did taking advantage of a disater attempting to extort the local folks who they serve. Yes, y'all should be aware of this behavior. I was told they were "SO BUSY" they could not come out but Dan would quote the job. Well, I'll say this, being so busy to estimate $11,000.00 too high, I assure you your being too busy is a problem that will fix itself. Next year Anthony Leonard Roofing will not be so busy. We needed repairs to our roof due to damage from Hurricane Ian. This was the only company who didn't insist the whole roof be replaced. It took a long time (10 months) to get it done. We understand that so many others had much worse damage. Charles completed the job carefully and well done. read more

Anthony C. Leonard our a roof on our house in Overbrook Gardens, Englewood, Florida in December 2018. Communication prior to commencing work was excellent. They showed up to do the work when promised, stayed on the job for three days until it was complete, and did a fine job of cleaning up afterward. Anthony himself was there to check on the job daily and did much of the final cleanup himself. The end result was an impressive job. Tony made a couple of excellent suggestions. One of them was to advise that we retain and replace our skylights. The price was fair and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering a shingle or built-up roof. read more

I contracted with Leonard Roofing 10/30/2020 through their representative Charles , for repairs to my roof facing the house on the right hand side of the house and Tropical silicone to be applied to the top portion of my roof for the sealant, the work was done on 11/3/2020, after the technitian left I got my ladder and looked at the repair on the right side of the roof it was still in very bad shape and not a complete job, so I called and Charles came out to look and sure enough he sent the same technitian out to complete the repair, after he left I again took out my ladder to see the work and it was such sloppy workmanship it looked like I did the repair, I just let it go at that time. It didn't rain for several month in 2020 and long into 2021 so I had no complaints until the rains started then of course the water was coming in again in my bathroom wall and shower doors, I called 8/6/2021, a technitian showed up 8/16/2021 I heard him on the roof moving around some tiles then he left, after it rained again I called 8/30/2021, their representative Charles was to come in on 8/31/2021 between 10-12, he didn't show so I called the office again and was told he would be here around 2pm he did show this time only to come in the door and immediately turn around and he left without seeing that the origional problem still existed, I called the office again, a few days later Daniel Leonard came over to view the problem I tried to explain the problem as clearly as possible he said he would send a technitian over to recoat the top roof and said some flashing needed needing caulk, which he said he took care of at that time, I called again 9/13/2021, emailed 9/16/2021 and left a message for Daniel Leonard 9/21/2021 still the same problem the date is 9/26/2021 and no one has gotten back to me on any of the previous three dates. This company is great--- Knowing we had an emergency leak (e.g. water pouring into the den through the roof), they came to our aid after- hours when others would not. They did an excellent job on fixing the leak immediately and their price was better than any other quoted. In fact, it was truly awesome. Thank you, Leonard Roofing. I am really impressed by the business ethics and professionalism of Anthony C. Leonard Roofing (ACLR). When we were putting our house on the market, we wondered if our aging, tile roof could be an issue.  Our real estate broker recommended that we ask "her roofer" (A. C. Leonard) to examine the roof. Within a week we were on their schedule. even though they were "out straight" with work. (I consider it a good sign when a service provider is so busy with work that you have to wait for an appointment.) Dan Leonard came exactly on time for our scheduled examination and his punctuality was appreciated. When he confirmed for us that the staining in the interior ceiling was, in fact, from a leak around the chimney, and that there was enough damage that a re-roofing would be needed, we asked him to send an estimate right away. We received the estimate within a couple of hours. Our buyers would prefer to manage the reproofing themselves, otherwise we would have definitely used Anthony C. Leonard Roofing. When I asked Dan Leonard what I owed for their services, as I never received an invoice, his reply was: "It was my pleasure.  You do not owe us anything for the estimate.  Please let me know if you need anything further, or if you have any questions." As I said, I am really impressed by the business ethics and professionalism. I think anyone who runs their business this way must do a great job. When we were looking into who should provide additional quotes, so that we'd have a few to consider, I came across a list of the top 25 roofers in Sarasota County. It didn't surprise me at all the Anthony C. Leonard Roofing was among these 25! Apparently they have a great reputation and service record. read more

Would not recommend this company in any way shape or form. They did a crappy job on our roof. They installed solar roof vents that were not made for our kind of roof ( according to the manufacturer of this product) as a matter of fact there is NO vent suitable for our type of roof. Yes we have researched there are no roof vents for our type of roof. They would not take responsibility or refund our money for the useless vents they had installed instead they wanted to charge us another $325.00 to remove them and put in other vents that were also not recommended for our roof. These were $500.00. The manufacturer refunded our money. I am very much into my plants 75% of my yard is designated to wildlife. I have many edibles for them as well as us not to mention some $$$$$ orchids. I was very specific as to they needed to be careful and please make sure they are covered I even asked if certain ones needed to be moved. I was assured many times that they would be extremely careful that they did not need to be moved. WRONG. They trampled through my garden destroying many plants one in particular that is about $5. a foot Vanilla bean orchid that needs to remain untouched for 7-8 years before it blooms and produces flowers and the bean we use for vanilla flavoring. It had been untouched for 5 years and was about 10ft long. It has been a year and a half what was left was about two feet is now three feet.The only reason they got 1 star is they did give us a bout $200. off for the damage they did to our property. We had 4 estimates given and researched the company. They were very highly rated (did I mention my husband went to school with the owner) I wish I could figure out how to post the pictures or show you the 1 inch thick stack of emails back and forth to this company for the many problems we have had with them. Is is pointless to report them to anyone. I have. It does no good. I BEG OF YOU PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY! read more
