We hired Anthony David Photography to shoot my daughter's February wedding. We were so disappointed by the lack of professionalism. After our initial meeting and contract, we thought everything was set. The negotiations and initial meeting and follow up was good. His portfolio looked amazing and we were excited to have him do our event. About 25 days before the wedding, we had reconfirmed what we wanted. Three weeks before the wedding, my wedding coordinator that had referred him to us called to say that he decided that he could not do the wedding. He never called me directly to explain or apologize. He has since reached out and said that it was a miscommunication with the venue. We scrambled for another photographer and fortunately found an amazing photographer and he was 25% less expensive than Anthony David. We were very disappointed but it all worked out to our benefit. Anthony is truly the best! He went above and beyond my expectations! I looked at several photographers before selecting Anthony for our family photo shoot. Other photographers were not only more expensive, but they set a one hour time limit on the session, with an up-charge for any additional time. Anthony made it clear that his low price had no limits on time, our time depended on when I felt we had enough shots. The day of our family photo session, I made a wrong turn and showed up 25 minutes late. Anthony was so understanding and laid back. He took us to a beautiful property in Murrieta - it even had a pond! Anthony brought a ton of equipment (even lighting, which I've never seen other photographers bring to an outdoor photo shoot!). He looked at the example photos I sent him from pinterest and made sure each of my posing ideas were photographed. He also had great suggestions on poses and background settings, but made sure it fit with our vision. Throughout the session, he made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. Since it was sprinkling on and off the day of our shoot, I was skeptical the photos would turn out the way I wanted (boy was I wrong). Our family of 5 did an outfit change and Anthony suggested we try a second location, which matched the background of a few pinterest photos I sent him (great idea!). After photographing us at both locations, the shoot ended up taking 3 hours (with no additional charge $$ - yay!). Anthony was able to get our photos edited and emailed in a little over a week (other photographers quoted 2 to 3 months!). I was blown away at the results! They came out even better than I could have imagined! As soon as I posted them on Facebook, everyone was commenting on how great our photographer was - asking for his name! We gained two family members!! Where to even begin with this review! I never been so happy/excited with the outcome of our photos. Let me start by saying that Anthony and his crew are amazing and my husband and I couldn't thank him enough for how wonderful our engagement and wedding photos came out. If I could give more then 5 stars I would. I wanted to start by reviewing the customer service side of Anthony. When I first talked to Anthony on the phone I knew he was going to be our photographer, he was easy going and very easy to talk to. There was no awkwardness and all questions were answered very straight forward and kind. I then met him and his wife Michele (by the way; she does make-up! I know, amazing!!) they were so sweet and kind to us, it felt like we have been friends with them before. They explained the process and Michele also offered to do my Make-Up. (Which I totally agreed on and she did an amazing job on me and my girls!). Point is at the end of it all we gained two more family members, my husband and I were sad thinking that we might not see them again. But I will definitely be in contact with them, and recommend them to friends and family. Now to review the actual photography and pricing. You seriously can't find a more amazing price than Anthony's. It is beyond reasonable/affordable and the quality of his photos will amaze anyone. Anthony has a passion for photography, not only did we love all our photos and the quality, he made our engagement and wedding photos tell our story. He isn't your typical photographer that gets paid by the hour and lets you know how many photos you're going to get at the end of the day. I don't think there are words that can truly express how much we loved having Anthony as our photographer. He is simply amazing, not only at what he does, but as a person! He and his wife, Michele, are so incredibly sweet and they treated us as if we were family. I had been given suggestions for another photographer and was not happy with what I saw. So I went off on a search for a photographer that had what I was looking for. The second I saw Anthony's pictures I knew we had to contact him. His photos are so beautiful! As soon as we met him and Michele, we knew we wouldn't be meeting with anyone else. And a huge plus was that Michele was able to provide hair and makeup! Over the year leading up to our wedding Anthony was so easy to get in touch with. He answered all of our questions and put us at ease. He was even nice enough to take some beautiful shots at my hair and makeup trial. On the day of the wedding we put our trust in him completely and we did not regret it one bit! Anthony knows what he is doing and he is truly an artist. He was so focused and kind of intense, but also very professional. We loved it! We knew he was making sure to get the very best photos. Yet there were other times that I didn't even notice he was there. But he captured so many great moments. The best wedding photos you could every imagine. I had my original photographer cancel on me and then I hired Anthony and I swear it was meant to be. Everyone has asked about my photos because they are so brilliant. The venue Sweat Pea Ranch has a ton of spots for great photos and he just had a blast with us. It was the best and now I have beautiful memories of my wedding I could not say one bad thing. He also has packages with make-up and hair which is convenient.
