Ended up going here after looking at about 8 private seller cars and was almost shocked by how much easier it was - and how much more surety you get from going with a dealer. If you had asked me a few days ago if I would consider buying from a dealer, I would have said yes, but only reluctantly. My thinking was always that I could get a better deal from a private seller, but now realise some of the downsides to going that route.
We actually got referred on to Hatchback World down the road - apparently also owned by Lahood Motors - and were surprised at how quickly we found a car that we liked and which met all our criteria but still stayed within our budget. Less than two hours after we showed up we drove off in a new car.
I guess this is more of a review of used car dealers in general and the story of how this particular one helped me overcome my doubts about them! I'd definitely recommend giving them a shot, in any case. read more
