From NJ and very loyal to my hometown barber. Hadn't had my hair cut in 7 months but couldn't holdout any longer. Was visiting Hobe Sound for a few weeks and walked into Anthony's on a whim. Immediately the vibe felt cool and welcoming. Gabrielle greeted me right away and knew exactly what I was looking for. I moved to the area about a year ago and have been looking for a great barbershop. I walked into Anthony's today and was blown away. Judging by the building I would've never guessed a hidden gem was inside. The cut was even better than the vibes, Gabriel knocked it out of the park, I was in and out within 20 minutes. Probably one of the most on point cuts I've ever gotten, usually it takes a few for a barber to get your hairline/style. I highly recommend Anthony's, this will be my new go to. read more

I have seen this place for awhile now, being a resident of Hobe Sound, and decided to stop in-- and glad I did. The vibe was chill and I was a walk-in (early morning during the week are ideal). Kathy is truly an artist who can probably give a great cut in her sleep and has clear insight as to what cut will work perfectly for her clients. The straight razor clean up was a nice touch. A bit pricey compared to other shops in the area, plus my basic haircut price increased $5.00 from my previous visit even though I paid cash both times. I didn't question it, just figured the barber included his tip in the price of the cut and saved me the trouble! read more

This is an AMAZING place. I am a new resident to town and needed a barber. I saw this place on Yelp and that they had a solid five star review not to mention it was in town. I called to make an appointment but they don't do appointments so I went later in the day there was no line. I was greater and had some great conversation with the owner of the place. She did an impeccable job with my cut rivaling my prior shop in atlanta with one of the best fade/blends I've ever had. It will now make me use her as my main barber going to others only when I don't have the ability to use this shop. The ambiance is also pretty awesome very much a masculine environment with a man feel to it. Free drinks there as well and very reasonably priced at $17 for a cut and eyebrow trim. :) thanks again for such a great haircut I'll be back for sure!!! read more

Thee perfect man cave! Friendly service and great cuts in a cool, loungy Barber shop unlike any I've seen. "Barber shop" is not a worthy title. If I were a man (or mother of a boy as I am) and lived in the area, this would be a goto for my boys' cuts. Women enjoy the benefits of inviting salons that make them feel special when they get their haircuts; why should men not have a similar experience... this more than creates that for boys and men: games, darts, tv and free drinks in a cool man cave with comfy leather sofas and chairs. This place in the past has been great. Our past experience was far from it. There were 2 women working at the time. Walked in, the younger woman said she would cut my 2 year olds nephews hair. While doing it she kept saying "I won't be able to finish of he doesn't stop moving." He is 2! She even threw her hands up at one moment. Keep in mind he is 2 and was doing great! There is a pac man game I'm the shop as well. They seemed VERY annoyed that my 5 year old nephew was playing it. I can not recommend this place. read more
