Overall we had a pleasant experience eating in today. There are a bunch of tables inside the restaurant and they offered table service. There was in waiter but not many people eating inside. I could feel air conditioning when I walked passed it but the restaurant was a little warm. Had the fried pickles. They were very good. The garlic knots needed to be a little warmer and probably needed a little salt and pepper added to them. Meatball sub was good. The pizza was ok. They had a good amount of beers in the bottle to offer. There were a bunch of wine bottle that I saw as well. They also had fountain drinks. We went to Luray caverns so it was very convenient to eat there as we left the caverns. The prices were very good as well. All in all a good experience. Nice and quick in and out. The staff was very nice as well.

    Garlic Knot Really?

Made a delivery order this evening. The prices are reasonable and the delivery arrived in a timely manner. Though I am very disappointed with my order. The garlic knots are ridiculous.... Though you be the judge per the pic I have added. The taste of the garlic knots was not very garlicky and were a bit over cooked (probably based on the fact that they are so small) the marinara sauce that came with them is very thin and taste many of bland tomato, no zest or seasoning. It's not very often that I indulge in the carbs of garlic knots but this seems like it was a wasted of effort. Not really sure if I will ever order from here again.

Cousin had roach in his lasagna before new owners. Then I had a bug leg in my sub after new ownership. Wouldn't refund me for the sub because I ate over half of it. So because it was in the last half of my sub I couldn't get a refund? Wasn't the only thing that I ordered either so makes me wonder what else is in the food. Wouldn't ever eat there again if all of luray burnt down and it was the last food place around.

We were in town seeing the sites and had a craving for pizza. Yelp led us here (which is why I love…read moreYelp so much!). The building is not much to look at from the outside, but it is super clean inside and the bathrooms are spotless. We started with the House Chips as an appetizer, because it looked different and interesting. I'm a sucker for garlic knots and a Caprese, but we were up for trying something different. The menu says "house made chips, specialty sauce, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese," so we were thinking maybe an Italian style nachos maybe? It wasn't that at all. I'm not sure what the specialty sauce is? I'm guessing some kind of really mild queso. Whatever it is, it was tasty and definitely tasty. The house made chips did NOT disappoint. At first with the top layer, I was thinking it was lacking a little seasoning, but the more you got into it, the more it shined. Still unsure what made it up, but it was good. Check out the photos. Then we ordered a large extra cheese pizza. Wow!! These people understand extra cheese! First the cheese was abundant. So much cheese (which is exactly the way we like it)! Here's where other places get it wrong. They cook the pizza the "regular" time, without considering the extra ingredient on top, so it comes out undercooked and/or soggy. Not here!!! It was so yummy! Done to perfection. I didn't take a pic, but I finished my meal off with a scoop of espresso chocolate chip ice cream. Oh so satisfying! Our server was amazing! Friendly, her timing was fantastic and she was just super nice! We would definitely stop here for pizza again when in the area. And yes - try the House Chips. They are really different, but totally worth it.

Hamburger was tasty - grilled hamburger roll. Ice cream for dessert- stingy on the serving and sprinkles. Not a selection of beers. Out of my first choice, ordered another and when I wanted 2nd they said that was the last one . Crazy for a Friday night at 7 pm Prices are high for what you get. I'm not from the area so I can only compare to New Jersey. There are a couple outside tables, area with music and was a bit louder than the inside. All resturants close early so it was a last resort. The people were nice .

My favorite dish of the entire trip was at Ciro's Italian Eatery. We were in the mood for either…read morepasta or pizza, and after a quick look on Yelp, their fettuccine creamy bolognese immediately caught my eye -- I knew that was the one. My husband went with the meat lover's pizza. While he was happy with his pizza, I was absolutely blown away by my pasta. Everything about it was perfect -- from the texture of the pasta to the richness of the sauce. It was incredibly satisfying and easily the best thing I ate all trip. We loved it so much that we came back a second time before heading home and ordered another one to-go for our daughter (yes, it survived the 2-hour drive!). The staff was kind and efficient, and the restaurant itself was clean and well kept. This spot has officially made it to the top of my list for future visits.

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant while staying at Massanutten Resort. Years ago, I had…read morelobster ravioli at an Italian restaurant in the area and couldn't remember the name. After searching lobster ravioli online, this restaurant came up, and the photos looked so good that we decided to give it a try. When we arrived, we were greeted right away and seated promptly. However, it took a while before anyone came to our table. Two younger waitresses were standing in the back talking with someone they appeared to know, and after about 15 minutes, another staff member finally asked if we had been helped. When I told her we hadn't, she immediately took our drink and food orders. The atmosphere was pleasant and family-friendly, with a relaxed vibe. Once our waitress took over, she was amazing--attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. It was well worth the visit, and I'm so glad I found the place again. I'll definitely be making a trip back!
