I've shopped this brand for years & the service at this location has declined substantially in recent months. Today, I purchased a dress that was by far not a reasonable purchase and not only did the young man who packaged the dress not wrap it...he literally balled it up and shoved it in the bag. I'm not a wealthy person, so when I choose to shop here, it's usually something I've saved for and a special occasion. For him to treat my purchase this way spoke volumes about how they really feel about their customers. I will not be back and if I didn't love this dress so much, I'd return it. read more

One is my favorite stores in downtown Greenville. It's a treat for the eyes. I have spoken to the lady that does the store displays. She is very artistic and does a wonderful job. The clothes are exquisite, so beautiful and well-made. Great accessories. I picked up a baby blue leather bag for a reasonable price. The housewares are nice. I have gotten dish ware from the sale room that I use constantly. One of my favs is a unique ramen bowl. And everyone knows about their scented candles. I love to give them as a gift! The staff is wonderful, very helpful. During a visit earlier this year, I noticed a woman and young girl frantically searching the floor in the sale room. I asked what was going on and they said the young girl lost an heirloom diamond from her necklace. We tried to search under a nearby shelving unit but could not find it! I went to one of the store associates and told her what was happening. She worked to remove items from the bottom shelves, with no concern about the lovely dress she was wearing. And she was able to pull the shelves up and found the diamond. That is the kind of people that work here. Very caring. Love love this store! read more

This shopping is an experience and I love it! The window displays will stop you, they're so beautiful. It draws you inside where there's a drink station, usually seasonal like cucumber water in warmer months or spiced tea in cold months. Clothing is all throughout the store with sections of home goods, kitchen, candles, and accessories. The workers are very helpful and will take your clothing to prepare a fitting room. If you're searching for a special occasion you can describe what you like and they will pick out additional pieces and different sizes if you need to adjust while trying on. There's another rack in the fitting room which is returned online merch that's 20% off. The store is organized well and kept clean. There's a big sale and clearance room in the back left corner where I picked up a super fun planner which was marked down and then an additional discount $11! Every area is full of lovely items so browse it all! read more

I used to love walking into our Anthropologie store in downtown. I absolutely love the clothes. But the last two times I went, it was snooty world. I felt completely uncomfortable. I also had two kids with me, one in a stroller. The lady grabbed my things and started me a dressing room. When I went to try my things on, she had put me, two kids as she observed when taking me clothes back, in a tiny room where we wouldn't fit, and a single woman in the large dressing room. We waited 20 minutes to get into the larger room. I got aggravated and left. Also the greeter up front, the very snooty older lady, only greets people she feels are worthy. Eager to help with selections I find the parking a nightmare but it's worth the trouble On street and often busy traffic I like this store because they have the best selection. Super sweet and helpful salesgirls today! We were looking for bowls and there was only one color on display-we asked and they brought out the shipment of more colors that they had JUST received and were more than happy to unbox those and let us purchase them! SO FUN! Also: it was SUPER rainy outside and we had purchased gifts-they helped us bag up our goodies so they wouldn't get wet in our trip back to the car! THANKS LADIES! :) read more

Overall the store has handled shopping during Covid very well. However, an interaction with the "check in" person created an awful experience. We were waiting in line to get in, no problem at all. The girl at the door was letting people in and out. We were keeping 6 feet apart and were outside so we did not have our masks on and would put them when it was time to enter. An older woman showed up which they door girl obviously knew welcoming her by name. She had a plastic face shield like mask over her face instead of a proper mask. She then preceded to stand within 2 feet of us. Now the improper mask was concerning and being close to her also not great. The door girl said nothing. Whatever, I get it conflict is difficult working retail, been there done that. However, the door girl snapped at my husband as he was getting his face mask on to wear a mask. Where was that attitude for the Karen behind us?? So we go in, I purchase a few things and run up a pretty decent tab. It's been a minute since I've gotten to shop. We get to the exit, the door girl let's this family come through, we step to the side to let them pass to maintain distance and she snaps at us again! Telling us "both doors work guys!" With a tone making it clear she thinks we are idiots. I know we all have bad days and working retail right now probably sucks but damn. I just spent a good deal at your place of employment and took your Covid precautions seriously and you have the nerve to be a jerk to us? After you let someone by pass on those precautions because you knew them?? Really lame and unprofessional. read more

I'm a huge Anthropologie fan & purchase LOTS of items from their stores & online but, this was my first time in this location & it was the worst experience ever! I won't shop inside this store again. I came in specifically to do some online returns, then to shop afterwards. The sales associate, Liz, was extremely rude, aggressive & disrespectful to me throughout the process. She shouted to another associate to come ring other customers up because she has a HUGE return!! Then as she went through the bags I brought in, carefully packaged back in the original bags, she threw the clothes across the the cash wrap area & onto the floor. She tried to issue me a merchandise credit on a rug I had purchased when I had given her the receipt showing I used a credit card. She wanted to argue that with me. The whole process was embarrassing & upsetting. I just relocated here & really miss my Anthropologie stores in Nashville & Franklin TN, they truly know & appreciate what it means to deliver excellent customer service. I can't believe that I'm reviewing a women's clothing store--but I was intrigued by the store opening, given all of the press that it was getting, and so I was downtown and dropped by to see what it was. I was warmly greeted and just spent a few seconds walking through the store. It's well laid-out, with various pieces of furniture and things placed around the store (I recall a bike), and was very attractive, with an "upscale mall" feel to it, yet it's downtown. I cannot comment on the clothes and other merchandise, though, since I am a he. The store was pretty busy, so that bodes well for additional mall retailers to come downtown. I am looking forward to the Brooks Brothers opening this year just around the corner. read more

Very disappointed in their very poor customer service. I called to look for an item via telephone and ORDER it and was told that I should call back tomorrow as the store is currently closing...The store is open another 20 minutes. I am a huge advocate for going above and beyond for a customer and this lack of service is very disappointing. I guess I will take my business elsewhere. read more
