This is absolutely Houston's "best 5 star spa," experience but for your skin. I was referred to this incredible place by a friend at work who is pretty much the expert in cosmetics and skin care. Was looking to finally do something about my skin tags that were pretty much taking over my skin. Since I've travelled for work for most of my career, I've never had any down time to be able to have a week off to do something like working on getting my tags removed. So after promising myself that on my next vacation that I would take the time to get my skin in better shape, I finally made an appointment. From when you first call to make an appointment with the delightful Carolyne to asking every question imaginable about the pros of cons of skin tag removal with Nathalie, everyone at this place gives you courteous and professional service. What I ended up doing over the next few weeks was basically the whole shebang. Week one I started with the tag removal. Over a 1.5 hour appointment with Nat she gently cauterized (not sure if that the right phrase but you get the pic) my tags. When she was done, it looked like there were over 50+ little pimples on my skin (left and right hand side of my face) but I knew from doing all the research that they would naturally fall off. I have to warn you, if you're not good with feeling a little prick here and there on your skin, this may not be for you. Since we're in Covid, I knew even if all the tags didn't fall off, that the mask would hide my face. After finishing the procedure, Nat set me up with their skin care regimen. As a drugstore cosmetics kinda a girl, I was happy to invest in making my skin have the best skin care line. After the first appointment, I booked another one where I got both the hydro facial and the dermaplaning. By then, all my tags had fallen off and the facial and dermanplaning I got was pure heaven. My skin had never felt so good and so clean. Having the opportunity to have sampled facials and spa treatments all over the world, ranging from Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Philippines and of course, NYC, LA, and all the greatest beauty places in the world, The Institute of Anti Aging is literally one of the top two places I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I scheduled my first appointment with the Institute of Anti-Aging in June 2021. I have been wanting to get a couple of procedures done. Upon entering their office I was greeted by friendly front desk staff. The office was clean and they immediately had me fill out paperwork. My appointment was with Nancy, she is a RN. Nancy listened to what I was hoping to achieve. Nancy was amazing with her technique and I only want to go to Nancy from now on. I have been to serval places before and I know when Someone knows their stuff and her technique was the best I have experienced. Before I left their office, the knowledgeable and friendly front desk mentioned a facial membership for Hydrofacial and Diamond facials- great deal! I signed up for the monthly Hydrafacials. I went in two weeks later for my first ever Hydrafacial. Again same experience with front desk, they are the first impression and very important to me. My appointment was with Brasin, she greeted me and had my first Hydrafacial. One of my friends mentioned my skin looked amazing a couple days later. Brasin also exceeded my expectations. I really wanted to get work done on my face here but it's been minor hiccups since I've been visiting this place twice and so far I've only had consultations! Caroline was so pleasant over the phone and assured me I could get work done the same day as my consultation. First time I came in for tear trough filler and I was met with the lovely Nancy in which she took me to a back room to take pictures and I informed her I was there for filler and she advised they had me down for receiving Botox. A service I never requested. After my consultation it seemed I wasn't a good candidate for filler and PRP injections would be a great alternative. I went home did research and wanted to do the PRP so I set an appointment. I called back inquiring of doing the PRP and was interested in micro needling as well. I set my appointment for 8:15am only to come in and find out I'm not getting anything done I'm just here for another consultation! I was really hoping to do my under eyes and just DISCUSS the options in term of micro needling and if that would be a fit for me and my skin. To be honest I'm a little annoyed I had to come all the way here and still not getting anything done (I live far towards Katy) However meeting with Natalie made me feel better and she's hilarious. I was able to purchase a serum from them which I'm excited to use. Their offices are clean huge beautiful all the ladies are nice however, my experience has not been what I thought.
