My favorite was the melon which was creamy & quite delicious! As far as ambiance, if you're fan of lemons, the store offers everything lemon related under the sun - from jewelry to bottles of limoncello. My kiddos immediately headed to the outdoor area for some gelato and final photo opportunities before returning to our ship. There's plenty of seating in the covered patio area to enjoy your gelato and any snacks purchased inside.

The Limoncello was alright, but didn't beat our favourite (which I don't want to name here). But they also got other fun products in their attached shop. Arts & Crafts, lots of Limoncello related products and also spices! And the spices is what got our attention. Italy has amazing spice mixes for pasta, risotto etc. The ones here were a bit pricier, but we didn't find any the other days. So we bought around 8x packages of the spice mixtures. We still got some at home, not much though. But they are tasty. For pasta, for steak sauces, for so many dishes. Love it.

Its aesthetic is like an NYC bodega where things are stacked from floor to ceiling. The employees were very helpful and didn't make fun of my preschool level Italian. There are small bakery, cheese and butcher counters. I encountered this local style of cheese, treccia, and am obsessed. The braiding is beautiful and the flavor is sublime. I do wish they had a fish counter but but I am certain that there are some good fishmongers near by. The quality of the produce was excellent. Unlike things in the U.S. where things look good but have no taste, all of the vegetables I bought had amazing depth of flavor. You do have to weigh and label your own produce which took me a bit of time to figure out. Looking forward to going back later in the week and definitely recommend visiting it if you need to go grocery shopping while visiting Sorrento.
