Out of the blue, I received a phone call from the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force letting me know there was a warrant for my arrest for two very serious, violent felonies. At first, I thought it was a joke... it wasn't. ​The Marshal was actually a reasonable guy, and we arranged a date and time for me to turn myself in. He couldn't tell me the exact details, just that they were serious charges.
