A nice and cozy bakery tucked away from the main stretch in Girona.
I honestly did not search for this wonderful little establishment, it just showed up while I was wandering around listening to my stomach scream in protest of being hungry. I figured with the amount of locals and tourists inside and the rest of the city still asleep, I had maybe stumbled upon somewhat of a gem. It is basically your standard bakery, small, quaint staff, delicious scents hitting you as soon as you walk in, and some delectable coffee. As far as pricing, I'd peg it at the middle of the road, so do not expect to fork over too much. My eyes focused in on one thing when I arrived, that being their delectable paninis that are ready to go, which is what I needed at that time. Quick warm up of the panini and I was out the door. Not going to say it was the best I had ever had, but in a pinch it was well worth it and on a side note the coffee was not to bad either!
Would I give it another go if I was in the city again, well without a doubt! read more
