Very bad horrible experience I had at this salon! I don't even give 1 star but I guess they are making me give at least 1! So I call them to make an appt to get my hair flat ironed for a wake I had that evening. I go in and Nina the owner told me to hang my jacket up and she washed my hair. I was telling her how my hairs been so dry that I need a moisturizing shampoo for in my hair. I told her how I have my regular hairdresser but couldn't get in today with her to style it for me at the last minute. She's blow drying my hair and then pointing out to me a spot where my hair had broke and telling me my hair is too blonde which is not up to her anyway how blonde I want my hair!!! She was criticizing my hairdresser that she should just put the blonde in my roots which I said that's what she does! She started being very rude to me and not friendly at all for her being an owner and knowing it's my first time there! I asked her if she could put some gel in my bang and she just gave a look like I was asking too much. She then tries to flat iron my hair which she didn't know how to do at all!!! She was taking huge pieces of my hair and not even making it straight and was going all over the place not in order. I asked her not to flat iron my bang and she did anyway! Then she wasn't even angeling my hair with the flat iron how I have it cut on the sides so I asked her if she could do that then she starts curling it instead!! I told her I didn't want it curly. By then I was just so fed up with her attitude and how she didn't know how to do anything you asked her to and didn't listen! I said it wasn't coming out well and does she know someone else there that knew how to flat iron my hair instead. Her husband Tony (owner too) then came out so I thought I'd get better customer service for me not being happy but instead he was very rude to me sticking up for Nina his wife. He asked what the problem was. I said she's horrible she don't even know how to flat iron hair. So he tries. I told him I didn't want it curled. So he did a little better in a few spots but didn't even get my whole hair straight which looks terrible then. You have some real straight hair and some still frizzy so what's the point??? I would touch my hair after he did it to see how it was turning out and he kept yelling at me, Don't touch it!! It's like it's my hair if I want to touch it I will touch it!! I then got sick of his attitude. I said it's not coming out well and he told me to go somewhere else so I said , fine you guys are horrible here! These owners are not friendly with a new customer and not professional at all and they need to go back to beauty school!! I mean he's in his 60's and her probably 50's. I gave them a hard time and walked out without paying for my hair of course. I would never step foot in that place ever again or would not recommend this family salon business at all to anyone!
