The food was pretty good. I didn't realize the shrimp taco was breaded shrimp and not grilled but I should have asked. I liked the steak tacos. They were nicely seasoned and squeezing the lime on them made it way better. My favorite was the agua fresca-pepino limón. OMG whoever was cooking today (around 2pm) you are wonderful. I don't know if they changed the way they do their tacos, but the tortilla is so much better now. It seemed like the tortilla was handmade. Then they toast the tortilla, giving it a slight crunch. I ordered Fish, Chicken, and Carne Asada. There was tons of meat in the chicken and carne, but the fish was kinda lacking. I wish there was more fish in it! The fish taco was my favorite though. The have a whole Mexican dish menu and I myself got a burrito for brunch lol! They cut it in half and the other half was for the road. That's how huge it was. I tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago based on the reviews. I went to try their al pastor (my fav). I ordered the pastor fries, pastor burrito, and asada taco (to try their asada). Their asada was awesome, so good. I would go back and get that. Their pastor, which is the reason I went, wasn't how I like it. It was juicy but tasted like it had a lot of cayenne in the marinade. I'm not a big fan of that much cayenne. Maybe it was an off night, but if that's how it normally taste I would not be back for it. I'll hit up the truck on the other side of the freeway for my pastor kick. read more

Huge language barrier while taken my order. I just wanted a breakfast burrito. After 3 ladies were trying to figure out what I was ordering in Spanish another lady came to help and take my order. She took my order again and finally understood what a breakfast burrito was. Chips and salsa were good while I waited. The burrito came and was pretty big. I am not sure if this is how they cook but the green pepper and potatoes were just chunks of food stuck inside. They were not sliced in a presentable way. They were just chunks. The burrito was for sure stuffed with lots of rice and beans. There was so much beans and rice, I can barley find any eggs inside my breakfast burrito. Searched for menudo on yelp and this place was under it as a listing. Their menudo is delicious!!! The restaurant is a little small but it's cleaned and nice. Their cashier of the night was so nice and patient. She brought chips and salsa to our table.. their green salsa isn't as spicy as the red one is but they're both good!
