If you are sending an item from Antonio Marras to the US, I urge you to read the fine print on shipping, customs, and other costs related to your purchase. I bought a dress from Antonio Marras and the time lapse between the purchase and the delivery was almost comical--the dress kept not arriving and it was so delayed that it came well after the event where I hoped to wear it. When I tried to cancel the order I was urged to please still give it a try, and was even incentivized with a 30% discount if I kept the dress (which cost about $1050 US). Next I was told I owed $188 is duty fees, so I again said it wasn't worth it, but again I was pressed to give it a try. (For some reason the dress was delivered without asking for that fee.) When the dress finally arrived, it was way too big and so I set out to return it. The least expensive return was nearly $200 at FedEx that I had to pay. When I finally took a deep breath and sent it back, I thought I was done and I would be credited in full--$1050. However, the credit was $750. The $300 was subtracted for duties and taxes associated with the return to Italy. SO--I paid $1050 +200 for shipping for a dress that didn't fit, I had a ton of frustration along the way, and I got $750 back. I truly don't think anyone was trying to be difficult and the store was very responsive along the way, but I paid $500 to try on a dress which is A LOT! Again, read the fine print if you are in the US and you are purchasing something direct from Antonio Marras, and be sure you will be keeping it. read more
