I feel very comfortable getting my eyebrows done by her, which is one of the most important things when finding someone to do your eyebrows. I walked in, and there was one person that she was finishing up with. I waited less than 5 minutes. She did my eyebrows in about 10 minutes, and they came out PERFECT. I seriously can't stop staring at them every time I pass a mirror. They just look so good. No. Just, no. My brows are GONE. On my 4th visit my brows were butchered by some lady I've never seen-NOT Anu. Anu has only done my brows ONCE. And because it's her spot and apparently she's the "best" I'd expect her to be the one doing them. Every time I go in there, there's a new girl threading there. The first time I went w my sister, I got lucky and got Anu and my sister got the other lady. And guess what???? The lady messed up her brows. One was completely diff than the other so Anu had to step in and finish for her. RIDICULOUS and embarrassing. Not to mention very upsetting for my sisters visit to LA. She grew her brows out for months.. Just to have them ripped away and uneven. So fast forward to TWO days ago.. Why I went back? Idk because I hoped for Anu. Instead I got this lady I've never seen. I walked in and told Anu I wanted her to do my brows and she smiled and said to sit. And I look up and this lady walks over. I should have said something but I didn't. And I paid the price. For sure. I've never ever had to explain how I want my brows. I always come for a clean up. But no- this lady went crazy on them. My brows were getting so full and I loved them. :( I worked so hard to maintain them. You'd think she'd know to clean them up. Not thread them Til they were so disgustingly thin. Who in the world goes to get threaded to have pencil THIN brows!?!! I'm so angry. I wanted to cry. My brows are everything to me. I've always gotten complimented on them. So why on earth did this woman feel the need to not only change the size of them.. But the shape?! Never in my life have I been this dissatisfied w a service like this. I'm embarrassed. Dreading having to wait MONTHS for them to grow back again because they take forever to grow. UNFORTUNATELY (to add insult to injury) I have a very important photo shoot this week. And I have to keep it natural looking. Coloring them in as much as I'd have to for them to look decent, would be too much makeup. I will NEVER be back. EVER. Please reconsider before coming here. Anu is the real deal. I've been coming to Anu since her shop was on Robertson south of Pico years ago. She does incredible work and I'm so happy to support her and refer my friends to her. Now, I'm so exhausted with these entitled yelpers that give businesses a low rating for work they didn't do or wasn't allowed the opportunity to address (or did address it but you still whine). If you come somewhere and something isn't right, you need to grow a pair and speak up. Simple as that. By the way, it's a non-issue as Anu's business has an impeccable reputation. Stop whining all of you entitled, dim-witted and cowardly yelper crybabies. (Whew! Sorry had to get that out. Read the reviews from Magic Mountain to get a heavy dosage of entitled Yelpers; you'll know what I'm talking about). I can't speak to the work of the other ladies in the shop. I haven't had a long relationship with these other technicians so I can't vouch for the work. However, Anu is incredible. The work is always spot on. Brow threading is $9.99. Waxing starts at $15, I think. Hours are great (they close at 7 pm). Service is great. Free parking is available behind the building via an alleyway. Also, a loyalty card is available. You get a little stamp each purchase. After a certain number of sessions you receive a discount on your services. You also get free services for referring our friends. Very impressed with Anu who has done my threading twice now. I was another dissatisfied Venice blvd customer, tired from getting bad threading and rude service from Haircut 2000 and Rozina's salon. I get my face threaded and so expect at least a little more attention since every time i come in its about $25. Anyway, Anu's salon is clean, she is meticulous and pays a lot of attention to ensure every hair is removed and the eyebrows are shaped well. She is reasonable, and polite and never upsells. Ok, I honestly don't understand why this place has such high ratings??? I've been here 2-3 times, and I probably won't be coming back unless I can't find a better threading place in the area. Anu does a decent job, but every time my eyebrows have come out either a little too straight, or slightly asymmetrical, which is enough to make me wary of returning in the future. On the other hand, I will say that parking is easy to find (always a big plus in LA), the place is usually not busy (there was no wait every time I came and it was on the weekend), Anu is super sweet and fast, but attentive. I had never gotten professional work on my eyebrows until a friend had me accompany her here. I was nervous about getting my eyebrows threaded because of stories I've heard in the past but my friend recommended it and I followed her advice. I have very sensitive skin and low pain tolerance so I was pretty nervous. The professional that helped me was very quick, thorough, and it was near painless. The feeling was a different sensation but not painful. The intensity was similar of a mini rubber band snapping on the back of my hand. I've been here twice and will definitely continue to return and send all my friends here. It only cost me $10 for full eyebrow clean up and shaping and styling in about ten minutes. This was my first time here. I had a really positive experience. Normally when I get threading done on my face, my face looks like a big red balloon. My skin is very sensitive, and it gets extremely red and bumpy. This experience here, left my face slightly red, nothing in comparison to what I'm used to. It just shows that they have great technique when it comes to threading. The lady who did my face, was Sayeda. Very nice and has great customer service. I've been going to Anu for a few years now and she does amazing work! I always go in as a walk-in and if she is busy with a client, the wait is less than a few minutes. She always has funny Indian movies playing to keep you entertained, lol. Anu is very meticulous with her work and she makes sure that you are satisfied every time before you leave. Her prices are also superb! The other girl that works with her is also very good. Her place is on Robertson, can be tough sometimes to find a parking spot. She does have 2 parking spots behind the building that you can park at, just drive down the alley and you will see her sign. Best eyebrow threading studio (for the price) I've found in the area so far. I'm STILL growing out my eyebrows from last year, so it's not like she's taking much hair off. I've gone to Anu a total of 3 times for a light clean up, and she manages to make them look presentable even with the couple stray hairs trying to grow in. Her studio is small, but that is all she needs since it is just her working. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes since she works really fast. That can be a pro or a con... sometimes I just feel like she hasn't done anything besides remove two or three hairs... then again, I am growing them out. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded here for about two years. The hair on my eyebrows isn't thick at all, so I don't go often. Plus, i only get the bottom of my brows threaded since sometimes it breaks me out. So far i have no complaints. I've only gone to Saieda and i love that she's conservative with how much she takes off. she always leaves a little hair because she knows thick eyebrows are in!!! I'd rather a conservative threader than one who removes my entire eyebrow. For now this is the only place i'll be going for my brows. i'm nervous to try anywhere else! yes it's that deep! read more

I went to Anu beauty based on the reviews and was not disappointed. It was a clean and cozy place. I signed in and was greeted very nicely by the gentleman who runs the front desk. The prices are great! I had to wait behind a couple of people because they only had one person doing eyebrows at the time I got there. So I had to wait a little bit. But once it was my turn the technician was very apologetic. I explained to her that someone else had messed up my eyebrows. She gave me a consultation about what to expect and that she would do a clean up and not try to reshape my eyebrows. I appreciated her taking the time to talk to me before the service. I am shocked at how many positive reviews this place has. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for over 10 years now and this studio has really disappointed me. I tried Anu after moving from the Westside to Mid-City. She seemed decent the first few times that I went to her at her previous location. She would always miss a few hairs when threading but you can't expect anyone to be perfect. More recently, however, she started missing more and more of the fine hairs around my lips. I hate to be leaving this mediocre review, especially seeing that so many people love this place. I'm just not impressed. I frequent Nail Bar & Beauty Lounge weekly which is on the same street so I decided to check out Anu's Threading. I walked in and there was no wait. Two nice ladies sitting both stood up and one took me to her chair. I asked for a simple clean up as I don't like them too thin. When she handed me the mirror, I could see maybe 6 little eyebrow hairs still. I asked her to please clean it up and she did, stating that she didn't know if I wanted to go thin. It wasn't that I wanted them thin, I just wanted clean. I could have done this at home with tweezers. I have been getting my brows threaded for years between LA and SD, and while this place was by no means bad, it just didn't blow my mind. It's $10 for brow threading which is pretty good, especially in the heart of Beverly Hills. I will likely be back to try out maybe one more woman's threading work until I completely cross it off. She also asked me if I wanted to trim the longer eyebrow hairs and whether I wanted my brows thinned out or not. It was especially surprising since she's the owner that her attention to detail and servo e was so mediocre. Now in all fairness I cannot state that she was rude & for $10 I got what I paid for. However there was no one in the place and she didn't get my brows right with two requests. This, I must say is the worst brow threading service I have personally received and unfortunately not worth the $10 I paid!!!
